If you shop here, and see things on a promotional price, or offer… TAKE A PHOTO. I was expecting to pay $32 for a Redken conditioner, when the price at register showed original pricing I kindly asked “I thought the sign said $32, are you able to double check” by the time they “confirmed” it was regular price, and I went back to the same spot where I got the bottle from, the sign was gone. Managers should be aware that all merchandising is up to date to not mislead customers.

The managers at this store are rude and dismissive. They don’t try to help you problem solve issues at the register. The two times I’ve been to this store I’ve had issues and they always have an attitude with you. They literally do not care about their customers and it’s very obvious on their face and in their interactions

Somehow my online pick up orders are always messed up and employees are incompetent and unpleasant. I’ll stick to buying directly from brand websites.

Less than friendly staff at check out won’t be back to this location

I was shopping in the River Forest store today, someone helped me make a selection. Two people appeared and were aggressively too close. They were racially profiling me(store security) although I spent thousands there, no more!

One of the most horrible location, if I could give -0 stars I would, went to the River Forest location Thursday 5/9, walked in No One Associate greeted me or acknowledged me the whole duration I was in the store, the store was horribly stuffed, and extremely dirty, really miss old management staff from years ago, you can definitely tell the store manager, and staff don’t care about that store customer.

I needed help finding make up, since I don't do it often. I was immediately helped and was able to pick out the right concealer. I usually come for the hair products, so this was a pleasant experience!

I took my granddaughter her to get a blowout. She’s has naturally very curly hair. I was a little nervous but let me tell you Ms Brittany is an amazing stylist. My grand daughter is 12 and has quite a lot of hair. Ms Brittany was patient and so engaging. She took her time and talked with my grand daughter about how to take care of her hair. When she was done her hair was absolutely gorgeous. Thanks Ulta we will be back. And Ms Brittany I appreciate you so much. You’re an asset to Ulta beauty. You deserve a raise and all the praise.

I work in the area and come to this location quite often. Ulta needs to do a better job of screening and training their employees to color match and service women of medium to darker skin tones. I can determine from some of their suggestions that they were not trained properly or they are not comfortable with Black skin tones. This is very disappointing. Also the rep from Clinique (colored hair) is selective about who she decides to greet. This location has gone down. I hope you obtain new management. Linda G.

I cannot believe the level of disrespect I encountered at Ulta Beauty. My experience with an employee named Jack with Green hair was beyond appalling and utterly humiliating.
First and foremost, I was scolded and berated like a child for daring to touch items out on the floor. Excuse me? Last time I checked, I was a PAYING CUSTOMER, not an employee! Instead of offering assistance or politely informing me of any store policies, Jack decided to publicly shame me by yelling, "you can’t touch those, leave them alone!" That was very bold because I could have responded to her approach much worse because she took it there!
Let's talk about the absurdity of the situation. The stock is out on the floor alongside the rest of the items. How on earth am I supposed to know what's "off-limits" and what's fair game? Maybe Ulta should consider cleaning up and organizing their store instead of dumping overstock in aisles with other products.
Jack's approach was not only wrong but also offensive and downright embarrassing. And I won't sugar coat this, it was definitely racially motivated. As a customer who just spent a whopping $250 at this store, I deserve to be treated with respect, not subjected to discriminatory treatment.
Ulta Beauty, you have lost a customer for life. I will be taking my business across the street to Sephora where I am valued and respected as a customer. Consider this a zero-star review – and that's being generous.

Maybe I’m just unlucky but whenever I come here, no one is helpful. No one approaches me which is fine, but when I go out of my way to find someone to help they do the bare minimum. I was looking for an item that said was in store on the website and asked two different employees where it might be and they pretty much just sent me on a scavenger hunt with no prize. Helpful employees make a huge difference, and I get they might be busy but helping me properly would’ve taken a few minutes at most.

I had a GREAT Saturday stroll through Ulta this past weekend. Everyone that I came encounter with was extremely helpful, especially Sienna and Amber. Thank you all for your patience!

Staff members aren't friendly or very helpful. I asked for help 6 times and was told to want, and no one ever helped.
