“The River Forest, IL DSW store is excellent! I give them a rating of 10+ … the store and staff are amazing. As usual, the person that helped me was friendly, eager to help & provided quality customer service this past weekend.My rating for DSW Corporation is not favorable. VIP rewards customers are repeatedly offered savings codes; but, DSW’s excessive restrictions omit >20-30 brands from savings code use. For this reason, friends of mine & myself ignore or unsubscribe from those savings mailers or email. This past weekend, I saw a nice savings offer on the site & tried again … nope, no savings & the restrictions have actually increased. This bait & switch marketing is a waste of customers’ time & the opposite of quality customer service.”

“Cheap, and fast(same day work) with great quality work. To restitch, water proof and clean my work boots was $20. And I’m a sprink… if you know then you know how dirty my boots get(black water). “Murphy's service is like service used to be. They know their stuff. The salesman (I forgot his name) asked a couple of questions and came back with a couple of styles. One was very close to what I like, but not perfect. He went in the back of the shop and came back with a couple more to try on. The first one was the one. They don't have a large selection, which I wasn't looking for. All I wanted was a good fit and a shoe for my type of workout. As for price I went to Zappos and the shoes were the same price and I got great service. Thanks”

“I went here on 02/10, I was looking at the guardian angel website and noticed this business was listed as a seller. I was also seeking reflective clothing at the same time. They're advertised as the largest selection of reflective clothing in Chicago so I decided to take the nearly 2 hour drive from Freeport and let me tell you, I was not disappointed and sure didn't leave empty handed. Needless to say I feel a lot safer getting out there doing my job, towing & recovery. I would highly recommend this business for all your reflective and safety gear needs. I'm definitely going to brag about this business to my coworkers!”

Since I bought from this place before I send them an email to ask if they could put it on hold for me because I wasn’t in Chicago yet but no answer came. I send a second email, still no answer. When I finally made it to Chicago and came to the shop I said very kindly that I send emails and would’ve liked at least an answer instead of being ignored especially since I’m a returning customer. The person that was there was super defensive and snippy. Instead of apologizing he just started constantly snipping at me. I thought to myself fine I just drop it cuz I didn’t wanna get into a discussion but this guy just from now on wouldn’t stop being snippy and rude to me even while I paid the jacket I bought. “Oh, my dear, let me tell you about my recent experience at this store! I must say, over the years, I've noticed a decline in the quality of their clothes. But fret not, they still offer some delightful sales from time to time, and I simply adore their clothes. The service, oh my, the service was truly exceptional! Though I must admit, it became a tad overbearing with all the workers continuously asking if I was finding everything alright. Bless their hearts, they mean well. They even fetched me a fitting room and kindly inquired if I needed any different sizes while I was in there. However, I had a bit of a hiccup when it was time to check out. There was only one worker nearby, she seemed too occupied with her phone. Once she finally noticed me, instead of checking me out herself, she asked another worker to assist me. Poor dear, the young girl looked utterly exhausted, carrying a stack of clothes in her arms as made her way to the register. Nonetheless, she managed to check me out and even applied the deal I saw online, which turned out to be better than what was available in the store! Overall, my shopping experience was satisfactory, but I do hope they pay more attention to the service and the weary workers in the future. Nevertheless, if you catch them during one of those fabulous sales, it's worth a visit!”
