Our dog is 14 years old and has stayed at many kennels. When we picked him up from Lucky-E, he was hands down-the least stressed he has EVER been. Normally, his skin and fur are a mess (whether one day or a week); he gets super stressed all the time. He spent a weekend here, and when we picked him up, one would never know the difference. His skins/fur were the same as drop off, he didn't stink of anxiety...just incredible. I wish we lived closer and could have him stay at this kennel every time we traveled. Highly, highly recommend. What a great place for dogs.

I have been taking my dogs to Lucky-E training since adopting my first Boxer in 1995. It really builds a bond with my dog. The instructors at Lucky-E are top notch.I never board my dogs anywhere else, either. They are given loving care when they are at the kennel for a sleepover. I never worry.

I drive thirty minutes to take my dogs here for boarding. Unfortunately I sometimes travel over a weekend and so it’s important to have a place I’m comfortable with. I’m pretty picky when it comes to a kennel because I like to know my babies are being taken care of and it makes traveling less stressful. Lucky E has been the perfect find. The staff is so friendly and I never feel bad calling to check on the dogs - the first time I took them there, they were responsive and it really eased my nerves. They do a great job and you can tell they pay attention to your dogs while they are staying there. I only wish I lived closer so it was easier to drop my boys off when I travel! I highly recommend this place! They always come home zonked out like in this picture because they get all their playing in!

what a fantastic place to train your dog. I have rescued dog for many years and always brought them to Lucky EMy dogs learn so so much and respect for listening to us . The staff are so wonderful and can teach you to have your dog obedience for years to come. My son is 12 and our dog respects him and us from there training techniques. Some shy away from the milk carton technique which does not hurt the dog but helps them in many ways. We only had to use it twice and now our dog is very obedient. also they really have true respect for you and your dog.100% Great Place to take your Dogs.

We have had two dogs go through classes and have loved it! The staff is very helpful and patient with everyone in the classes. We have moved onto agility with one of our young dogs so there is plenty of training options for all ages and levels! And all of the learning wears them out just in time for bed!

I've trained all my dogs here. From show dogs to Obedience. We have a rescue pit and they are very good with every type of dog. She waits by the door to go to class.

Their obedience classes have completely changed my dog! I used to be afraid to walk my dog through my neighborhood, because any little thing could set her off. Now we go on daily walks together with little to no trouble. I absolutely love the staff as well. They're all so friendly, and they all greet my dog with so much love. It's such a friendly place and I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for help with your dog.

Only place I trust for training my dogs. Trained my german shepherd there 3 yrs ago, now training a rescue with them that was showing signs of aggression. I was concerned I would have to return him. I decided to try one last thing, Luck E , if this didnt work, he would be going back to the shelter. Within few short weeks I have a different dog, he is improving by leaps and bounds. I even ran into a couple of the trainers in public and instead of them telling me wait for class as they are not on the clock, they took the time and listened to my concerns and gave me advice on what to do and when I took him to class the following week he was well behaved and an A+ student. You can tell they are passionate and care about the K9 community training your dog starts with training you. I cannot recommend them enough!! They are also the only place I take my dogs for nail trims.

I would give them a 6 if I could! I have taken all of my dogs through there training programs as well as do my boarding here for the past 20+ years.They also have a great doggie day care to support dog socialization.The staff pays special attention to all of the dogs and is very knowledgable about bog behavior and how to support their owners so that the dogs can be their best. We are so lucky to have such a top notch training program here in McHenry County!Thanks Lucky E!

Very friendly, warm, helpful, and truly caring. Family owned. I've been taking my dogs there for classes, to be boarded, and during the day for doggie day care for the past 12 years. Very reasonable prices. My aunt and uncle used to drive all the way from Oak Park(2hr and 20min round trip) because they had tried multiple places prior and this was the only place that their dogs were excited to go to, came home happy, exhausted, and never ended up sick . Everyone that works there loves dogs and you can rest assured that they will treat your dog as if it is one of their own.
