This is the absolute worst walmart in the south suburbs. An older caucasian woman workih as a cashier openly disrespected a young african american by shouting " short bus headed that way" and recieved nothing but a few laughs with one or two appalled faces. The young man was purchasing produce, and didn't know how to use the look up function, which has two menus and asked rather than hold up the line, and that was her response. She rudely punched the buttons for him as well and stormmed off to scream, an entire scene being made. If it were Ed Debevicks, it would be appropriate, but is a Walmart. The store has an issue with theft as well as the rude staff always looking for an altercation. The gas station may still be boarded up after an attempted robbery that never made the news..... Steer clear, especially after 9 oclock, or on the weekends. Utilize Western or anywhere else for that matter. You have been informed and warned.

It's a Walmart (do with that information what you will). Decent selection of items needed if you are traveling and forgot something. You want to get in and out with moderately low shenanigans? Go before 8am. You want to see a show, or are bored and want something to complain about, go anytime after 8am. Sidenote: many things are locked up and require an associate to open the case to get the items. I have no shame, and don't mind standing there and looking people in the eye when I ask for things. Just didn't expect personal/intimate items to be locked. I smell a conspiracy, but we will leave that alone at the moment.

Had the worst experience with Walmart. I'm sure it's nothing new But I had never had a bad experience. I placed an order last night for delivery today. My delivery was supposed to be delivered at 10am this Morning. I had to work, so I ensured someone would be here to bring in the groceries. At 9:30am, I received an email that the order was on the way. At 10am, I received an email that my order was delayed and would be delivered within 2 hours. After 3 hours, No delivery, No notifications... Nothing. I'm at work now, so I chatted with cx Service. They apologized. Said they cannot find a delivery driver, please allow another 2 hours. 2 hours and still no delivery. I called and Customer Service said because my order is large they cannot find a driver. They will contact me when available. An hour later, I contacted them and they apologized abs said it was Top Priority and would find someone soon. 2 hours later it is now Almost 8pm. I called the store to try to make arrangements to pick up my order when I get off of work. Can't get through to anyone. Called the corporate line and they said that they normally don't convert delivery orders to pick up orders but because I waited so long, they will try to accommodate me. Still waiting for the email to let me know if I can pick up my order when I get off from work.

This is a very neat and clean Walmart. Been here a few times and the cashiers were very helpful when I had an issue at the self check out. Everyone was wearing a mask. I'll keep going there. It's the closest place to my work.

I hate this wal-mart. It is so close to our house. But the service is awful! There is always a wait at customer service. Curb side pick is up is so slow. It would be faster to go in and shop. No one answers their phones. I go out of my way now to shop elsewhere.

Had a bad interaction with a clerk at their pharmacy. Went to pick up my hubbys prescription and because there was a deductible to be fulfilled it was over $500. The credit card people thought it was fraud so declined the transaction which I got resolved over the phone finally. My complaint is that the woman basically announced to everyone present that my credit was bad. After I had resolved the matter with the credit card company and returned to the counter she acted as though I was trying to scam her and once again very sarcastically announced that it had been denied but she would try again! Not a happy customer.

Worst customer experience I have ever had at any business. I went in to attempt to return items I bought during COVID/ quarantine, as I was promised, and upon learning that their return policy was "back to normal", I went back in to be told it was too late to return said items. I would be fine if it was past the time to return the items, but the associate was very rude about it and did absolutely nothing I would expect out of a customer service representative. Will not return.

Absolute trash Walmart. If you plan on doing pickup from here let me tell you the way to do it, don't. 2 hours in line for a DoorDash order killed my day. Currently still sitting in the pickup line. This place Needs serious help

Nope. Nada. Kidding me? I planned a quick in and out today, a Monday about 2.30pm. Got my six items and headed into the "quick" 10 items or less lane. Twenty minutes later I phoned the telephone number and asked the answerer to please send out more cashiers. The poor woman tried to apologise saying someone may have called off. If true manager steps up and does grunt work, correct. Attaching photos from my line, self checkout line and all the way down the main aisle to get to a many item checkout. I was exposed to Covid yesterday did not want to infect others but spending this much time in a store could be deadly to myself and others. Oh yeah. On the way out a "security" person hired by Walmart had no idea the extended version of mo...fo.. is incorrect in a professional setting. Who is mentoring???

This is easily one of the worst Walmart's I've been to. I know COVID has nothing to do with the lack of service here. Every time I come here their are no carts and is poorly stocked . Management should be ashamed of themselves . When I do see people stocking the shelves . They are messing around swearing in front of customers and blocking the whole aisle. Not caring if customers are trying to get through. The pasta sauces can't be read because they're to lazy to take them out of the boxes. We went there today and tried to buy a Christmas decoration that says it can only be bought in store. And the so-called manager said it's a Black Friday item. We went to the Walmart in Olympia Fields and it wasn't . Again the management needs a big change. By the way when I went there today no carts and 5 employees standing around rapping in the cart storage . I mean there was plenty of space . Why not right?

I ordered my groceries and as per usual they did not have many of the things I wanted. I ordered a largechocolate cheesecake and they did not have it. Instead they decided to substitute with 3 small New York style cheesecakes. Even though I wasnt happy about this I said nothing. But when I got home I saw that they did not give me the cheesecakes that I paid for. I contacted walmart pick up chat and they said they could not help me because I paid at the store. I asked for corporayltes number and they said they were not allowed to give it to me but I could look it up myself. They suggested I call the store and so I did. Only to be told there was no manager in but they would call me the next day. They did not call me. So I will call yet again tomorrow. I will not ever use the Richton Park Walmart again for anything.

I wish there were 0 stars. I made a complete online order. I had everything I needed. To avoid covid I put $20 in my back seat for the person loading my purchases. I drove over to this Walmart at my time slot and I kept getting a message that my order was delay. After 30 minutes sitting in the car I went in. Not only was it a zoo in there but no one to help you anywhere. Now the alert went off that my order was ready so I drove over to the pick up area. Guess what there is no entrance or exit by the pick up. No one came out after 10 minutes I tried to go back on the store. By that time it was 8:31. They would not let me back in the store or provide my order. Now I don't have money to buy groceries else where until I get my refund and not only that but no one even cared at Walmart. I called and spoke to Frank and did he offer to do anything to make it right? Nope nothing. I will never ever buy a thing from Walmart again. I try to do the responsible thing and social distance and instead I will probably end up with this virus as a result of how poorly the Walmart app works and how poorly the employees at this Walmart are. So throw away all my stuff now and guess what Walmart you have lost my business forever.

Walmart stores are bare by the time I get off work and get to the store or out of stock or everything in the food is gone I can't find anything the on line shopping is a joke a lot says in store sales only but the are out of stock on everything and every store is the same how about Putting a limited on everything so all the people can get stuff they need but no people are greedy on everything including Walmart they just dont care I can not even find toliet paper any we're need meat cant find that either Walmart is a jokey

I personally liked this store, my only complaint would be the long check out lines. They were carrying a lot of hard to products that I like so it was really nice to shop here. Unfortunately my last two trip have been a big disappointment. They are carrying fewer products and the condition of the stores has become a disaster. I truly hope this is only temporary, I am really disappointed.
