Very good store for greeting cards and seasonal merchandise. It was a little messy upon my last visit. But the finds are great!

Talking on the phone or FaceTime should not be the norm while at the register. Not professional at all

I just had the most wonderful experience. My daughter fell asleep on the way to the store so I had to carry her throughout the store. While it was my turn at the register the lady behind me offered to put my items on the belt for me, the cashier (wish I paid attention to get her name) pulled the cart around and loaded it for me, the lady that was in front of me waited for me to check out to help bring the cart/ bags out and the lady that helped put my items on the belt had her nephew bring my bags to my car. I was a little worried at how I would do all of this with my daughter sleeping but these amazing people and the amazing cashier didn’t even blink an eye to help me. I am so thankful/great fun that there are still good people out there that are willing to help people they don’t know. If it wasn’t for them I would have had a very hard time checking out and getting to the car. Tear jerker of the day, I got very lucky. God is good, bless them?*edit*My receipt says the sales associate was Candice! I hope that is right because she deserves the praise and a raise!

WHOEVER IS RUNNING THIS PLACE NEEDS A RAISE. This is the most organized and well stocked Dollar Tree I have ever been to. I live closer to two other Dollar Trees and come out of my way to this one because it is always the best

Every time I shop in a Dollar Tree store I normally spend not less than $60. These days I’m spending less than $20 I guess they just aren’t as well stocked s as they use to be which is actually good for my pockets. ?

The service here was much better when it was the dollar tree really. Now lines are too long and no back up help.

I went to the Richton Park, IL location with my aunt, 2 sons, and cousin to purchase a few items. I instructed for my children and my cousin to go get snacks to so that they can watch movies and enjoy their winter break. Ahmed Muhammed (Employee) accused my sons and my cousin of stealing and my children and cousin became fearful and walked near me and my aunt and notified us of what had happened. My aunt addressed her concerns to Ahmed and the young man and he replied “oh. I was just playing with them.” My aunt expressed to him that accusing children of stealing is not something you play about especially dealing with African American boys and the climate of this country. It’s a serious offense, traumatizing, and it ruins lives. It was another male employee who was next to Ahmed who was trying to cover up his actions by saying “he didn’t say anything to your children.” My children and my cousin heard him clear. I expressed my concerns to the store manager and she apologized but justified the workers actions by saying “I can understand where he is coming from. Some children were stealing from our store.” Not all children/black children steal and they don’t derserve to be treated like criminals while shopping especially when they are with their parents are accompanying them in the store. I am a social worker and this experience was very disgusting to me. Also, I would like to add that when I walked into to the store, Ahmed was very loud and using profanity expressing “I am about to get the F up out of here.” I will not be taking this situation lightly. I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau and probably the EEOC. I never want children in the community especially black children to experience something like that walking into Dollar Tree. They deserve to be treated with the upmost respect.
