“Family owned apple orchard. Many kinds of apples , cider, taffy apples and more. We bought Macintosh apples for eating and northern spy for our apple pies. Both were fresh and delicious. We went back for more apples as well and were not disappointed.Love this place. You should go!”

2741 W Hartigan Rd, Volo“This is the best Aldi that I have visited in the area. I have been to at least 5 or 6 different Aldi's. You know the situation! My darling wife needs to get a "few" things from Aldi, and we just happen to be passing by one, and we stop to get a "few" items. By the time she is done, we have a cart loaded with everything we "need." Ha!
The reason I like this location compared to many others is that the parking is shared with a Home Depot, and if the lot is busy, you can always find a spot. There is also easy in-an-out access to Rand Rd. through the main Home Depot lot. No dreaded left turns onto a busy 4 lane road!
It is also great from my perspective to drop her off and then run to the Depot to grab a few items. I have to be quick! She is a fast shopper and with the self-checkouts she can be in and out in less then 20 minutes depending if it is really a "few" items or our weekly build up of items we need for the family.
It is well kept and clean, and the isles are maintained and stocked, but it can get nuts during a holiday and / or at peak times, which is understandable for most grocery stores.”
“Aldi always has good selections as well as great prices. Their shopping has become even easier with the new self checkout option at some of their locations. If you are a wine drinker they have some inexpensive choices and even have some good beer in stock for a reasonable price.”

2226 N Richmond Rd, McHenry“My favorite grocery store! The prices elsewhere can't compare. Yeah there's a bit less selection than other grocery stores but they've got the fridge and pantry essentials. I love not getting choice fatigue here, compared to other big stores. I do almost all of my grocery shopping here.”

100 E Geneva Square, Lake Geneva“I've been coming here for years. I like to people the staff. I know where things are at. They don't change it every week. So yeah, I like shopping here although my wife tells me. I need to stop buying those bags LO L. And they are a great benefit to our community.”
“Great little grocery store, GREAT MEATS, and hands down the BEST HOMEMADE TAMALES EVER! The tamales are only available on Weekends, but are better than ANY Mexican Restaurant in the county!”
“This is my neighborhood grocery. The people are always friendly, it's pretty well stocked for being a small grocery store and the prices aren't terrible either! The meat is good. Produce is good. Music is good!!!”
