Terrible. All they care about is the money.joann at front desk is fake, plastic person. If you pull up outside they send one of their teeny employees out to your car to collect money before you can get your animal back. Very TACKY business model. Not open on Saturday, Sunday of Monday. After hours emergency, answering machine.no help, you're on your own!! Before this Jacob bunch took over, DR. CHURCH would meet you in the middle of the night!! Now that's a caring vet. Ask these people why they can't help in after hours emergency. They will tell you take your animal after hours to Collinsville or Pontoon beach. 40 miles one way. Well that's not much help when your pet may be dying or having seizures. Don't waste your time or theirs. DEAD END PET SERVICE. THAT WOULD BE A GOOD NAME FOR THIS BUSINESS!

We have a 15-year-old rescue Chihuahua, Cookie. The vet we often see is Dr. Jake, and our dog absolutely loves him, and she loves the entire staff. We feel confident that the clinic will give our "baby" the best care. The doctor calls and goes over advised care, and the team also does follow-up. We live in Columbia, IL, so the trip to Red Bud is a 45-mile round trip. Sometimes we have driven this twice in one day, and we think it's worth it. If you don't live in Red Bud, I promise you the drive is worth it, and if you live in Red Bud, you are lucky to have Red Bud Veterinary.

I met Dr. Jacob almost 2 years ago when I had to help my beloved Wilson over the rainbow bridge. It was quite honestly one of the hardest things I've done in my life. But Dr. Jacob was compassionate and caring helping me to understand I was doing what was best, even though he had never met Wilson (Martha had always taken care of him before her retirement). Fast forward a year and a half later I was ready for another puppy. Within 5 days of having Fritz, he became sick. It was nearly closing time but the clinic said, "Bring him in, we'll wait for you". The sad diagnosis was Parvo. Dr. Jacob was honest with me that my pup had a 50/50 chance of survival. He took him in and started him on overnight IV fluids. The next day I got a call, "You can come and get him. He's doing ok and he'll heal better at home. We'll send you with the medicine he needs and if he makes it thru the next 3 days, he likely survive it." 4 months later, Fritz is a happy healthy pup growing as he should be. Dr. Jacob could have kept him at the clinic and charged me thousands to do what he knew I could do at home. I am certain the Red Bud Clinic saved his life. I could not be happier with their services. I also am thrilled when Dr. Jacob comes into the exam room hugs and loves on my pup like he would his own. The entire staff is so caring. I could not be happier.

Have used this vet for many years and called to get med that I have used over 7 years on my cat and was told we lost money on that med so we don't stock it. Wanted to sell me something that was 25$ a month instead. the other was 25$ for 6 months. I advised I'll let you know what I decide and click" was hung up on. i called back later to ask for a script to get online, she explained how to do that and I asked why I wasn't told that the first call and "click" again . I placed another call to speak to practice manager and was told not one but got JoAnn who has never been nothin but nice. She apologized for that happening but they said I hung up on the. NOT TRUE. Seem they are all about $$$ now. Will not go back.

Cannot say enough good things about the entire staff in Red Bud! Everyone is so friendly and we never feel rushed. They take their time and answer all of our questions and are always extremely informative. Dr. Jacob is fantastic! Super friendly and knowledgeable. We trust him with all of our pets needs and highly recommend you do the same!

This staff has really gone the extra mile with injured dog situations! They are kind, compassionate, professional and soooo caring towards the animals and their people too!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Dr. Jacob and staff are amazing!! Dr. Jacob has seen all my crazies since they were little. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else!

I highly recommend!!! I rescued a 6 month old puppy that was abused by a male I pre warned the doctor that she's super skittish around men he came in and was so good with her so patient and caring I'm so happy that I brought her to Red Bud veterinary service !!!!

We love Dr Jacob! The entire staff was very friendly and made my puppy very comfortable. They gave her snacks to distract her from her vaccines and made sure I have everything I need to keep her happy and healthy. I very highly recommend Red Bud Vet Service!!!
