The big Verizon sign is very misleading. They sell Verizon phones but are not able to help diagnose problems. I have to go to the Champaign store to get help. The employees have always been friendly though.

One of the worst customer service experiences IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. There were 2 women at the store and the one who helped me - a thin, African-American woman with painted red hair (a) Kept making personal calls in the MIDDLE of our conversation (b) and kept trying to talk to people who were already being helped by the other girl, so as to appear to be too busy to me. That woman should be fired immediately - UNBELIEVABLY horrible. She was unwilling to reveal her name, because she knew I was going to complain about her. I had to stop talking to her and got my work done from the other woman at the store.

First off the experience at the store was fine no complaints but Verizon is the most overrated service I've ever signed up for. It's slow as molasses I can hardly pull up the internet at my house and get slow service all over urbana and Champaign I would not suggest. I'm going over to At&t soon.

Serenity helped us make a new phone transaction go smoothly. We were taken care of immediately and she explained everything to me (someone who is not very tech savvy) completely so I would understand. I will definitely keep going to this store instead of going all the way into Champaign. Thanks Serenity and Russell Cellular for being so helpful and accommodating! 5 stars!
