Nice hotel and room, friendly staff. Breakfast wasn't great. Bananas were green, food was very bland, and I had to ask for utensils as they weren't set out at the time. The key card to one of our rooms stopped working more than once. The heater in my room was broken.

We have always liked staying here in the past. It's a halfway point to meet bestie for some downtime. I require an arm or club chair b/c I have a messed up arm and hsve to prop it up and sleep in chair. Before making reservations I called the hotel directly (i even asked if i was talking to someone local/told yes) & asked them if they had any rooms left with an arm chair because I had to have one. I was assured that they did. So we booked a room. Imagine how upset I was when we got to our room to find that they only had hard chair with no arms at all! Went back down and asked them for a different room to find they were sold out. Then asked for an upgraded room with club chair, which was all sold out. Therefore we had to checkout... and spent a lot of valuable time to find a room with a club chair, that had a pool and one we could afford. We are very disappointed that we could not stay there because their employees are not trained well enough to know what an arm or club chair is...Noteworthy details: Nice and clean hotel, in great location...but no longer has club chairs in regular double rooms. They used to have them... I called because in picture they did not show one in room told... oh those are old pics, these rooms have club chairs. ? No, they do not!

The staff at this place? Total legends. They handle everything with style and grace! So, there were a couple of bumps in the road, like the internet restrictions and the hot tub woes. But let me tell you, the way these folks dealt with it, you'd think it was all a breeze. Five stars for the real MVPs!" ??

This is a cozy, Northwoodsy hotel in Quincy. Next door to shopping and restaurants. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable. Nice public areas. Indoor/outdoor pool, plenty of cozy outdoor seating, small store for snacks like crackers, cheese, drinks. Cozy bar, which was remodeled during our visit. Complimentary breakfasts were very good with good variety of hot food and continental breakfast items. Different food items are alternated, which is great if you are staying for several days. They have a great pancake machine, push a button, and out come silver dollar sized pancakes which are perfectly made. Eggs were fresh and tasty. Warm croissants. Tasty food, and area kept clean. The staff here are very friendly and hard-working. I give a 4.5 rating only because the lack of housekeeping services after Covid in many hotels is unfair to the paying customers. You have to ask specifically for everything from having a clean towel, empty waste basket, roll of t.p. At times there was no one at front desk, so you have to find a housekeeper. I miss the days when rooms were freshened up daily, especially at these room rates, but those days may be over.Otherwise, this is a great place and I highly recommend staying here.Nearby activities: Lots of shopping and restaurants. Many are walking distance. Right behind Steak and Shake. Next door to new Target.Food & drinks: Great complimentary breakfast with hot and cold food. Very nice pancake machine. Cute little bar which was newly remodeled just today. Small shop with cheese, crackers, wine, beer, and other drinks and snacks for purchase.

Could have been a great hotel if they would give it a good cleaning and have friendlier staff. Rooms were ok but the rest of the hotel was dirty. I know many hotels are going to not refreshing your room daily but still would have liked coffee refreshed and beds made, especially for the price. When one of our group needed clean bedding they were given the sheets to do it themselves.

The Quincy IL hotel was terrible, they overcharged our account, held our money, not taken care of yet and incompetent front desk, staff taking my wife till 2 in morning on a call still not finished, terrible managers they double triple charged, don't stay at this hotel, the front desk folks are powerless and cant fix any issues. Customer service is not a thing with these folks. We had to have family in town due to a death in family and all this has been added stress that we did not need.

A week ago we had a surprise family reunion for my 86 year old grandma that lives in Quincy as we are all from the Quincy area and booked 5 rooms. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Our fun weekend turned to sorrow when my father unexpectedly passed away and we needed a room earlier than expected. The staff was very accommodating regarding everything. For the day of the reunion party they provided us with a gas grill. The rooms are perfect. The beds are extremely comfortable. The indoor/outdoor pool with the hot tub was a favorite. They even had a spacious sauna room. Being pet friendly was a plus as we had to return this past weekend to lay my father to rest and brought our two small dogs. The evening staff was amazing with keeping the popcorn popped. Simply our favorite hotel in Quincy. We will be returning multiple times over the next several months and this will be out to go place. Way to go Stoney Creek! Keep up the great work and great customer service.Rooms: Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and tub/bath features. They also do not regulate their hot water so one could take a nice hot shower/bath if they wanted.Walkability: Walking distance to the brand new Target, Applebees and Steak N Shake.Food & drinks: They have a little bar inside the restaurant where you can purchase drinks if you would like.

Beautiful rustic decor and clean, comfortable rooms. One of the best swim / fun areas with indoor-outdoor pool, large hot tub (jacuzzi), sauna (looks like a little log cabin), pool table, and plenty of indoor and outdoor poolside seating. In room, large fridge held our cooler full of food & beverages. Close to Interstate and reasonably priced. Nice breakfast too!

Great location for food and shopping. Pool area has indoor/outdoor pool, large hot tub, sauna, and pool table. Also had exercise room and laundry room that we did not utilize. The rooms weren't anything special, but there are cute decorative touches and the shower had plenty of soap/shampoo in pump bottles. The breakfast spread was nice. The pancake maker did not work well, but staff was willing to help get it going. Not sure of the vacuuming schedule, but by morning, I did notice that the stairways were in need of vacuuming. It was 1.5x more expensive than the hotel we stayed at the night prior. Aside from the decor and the pool area, I wouldn't consider the value to be 1.5x greater, but understanding the cost of pretty much everything increasing lately, I wasn't too put out by the price point.
