My experience with Cloyd was the best car buying experience I've ever had. No games, no run around, easy to work with. Would definitely do business with Hess again. It was completely hassle free. So much better than dealing with one of the big dealerships.

If you want to have the best car buying experience you will ever have then go to Hess Auto Agency in Quincy Illinois! Cloyd Barden is the owner and he treats people like gold. I drove out there yesterday from Dayton OH and my experience could not have been any better. Cloyd was open and honest, explained everything well, he was very efficient which made for a fast purchase, and sold me a beautiful Cadillac XLR at a really fair price. He treated me like family and he'll treat you the exact same way.

Just recently bought a 2021 Ford f-150 from Hess. Went in with alot of questions about the vehicle history, etc. and was given very straight forward clear answers. A major plus was no pushy salespeople hounding you as soon as you stepped on the lot. He gave me a fair price on my trade in, paperwork went SUPER quick/smooth, I was in and out in no time, but never felt rushed. Even filled the gas tank prior to me leaving with the truck. Top notch service here!! Would highly recommend!!!

Absolutely the most incredible customer service. I’ve bought numerous vehicles over the years and I can say that this was by far the best experience I’ve had so far. It was like buying a vehicle from a family member. Highly highly recommend. If you want the process to be smooth and hassle free, go to Hess. We met Cloyd last year when we made our first purchase . Went back again to upgrade vehicles and was treated with respect and courtesy. No gimmick , low overhead allowed me to receive the best deal in town. All paperwork was done on site within an hour and we were on our way with a full tank of gas. Had a wonderful experience purchasing my new, used, Honda Pilot from Cloyd at Hess Auto Agency. He was very easy to communicate with, responsive, honest, and a real pleasure to work with. I haven’t had many positive experiences with car salesman in the past and Cloyd, and Hess Auto, change that standard. Owner was a straight shooter and treated me and my pa dang good! Prices were fair on the Tacoma I bought , replaced a few things in it and even threw in a full tank of gas. 11/10 recommend!

Absolutely wonderful experience, walked in not knowing anybody walked out. Feeling like family.We did find a small issue when we got home but when we drove back over they said they would take care of it , was so nice and so understanding about about my little issue.We would strongly recommends going there?
