August 2018 by Vanessa A.
I wish I could give 0 stars. I will NEVER be going back to this company. I had originally brought all our garments to them on Tuesday, June 19, 2018. I called Woolenwear and spoke with Gail who confirmed that they could have 1 of our 5 batches of shirts done by Friday, June 22, 2018. She also told me they could have the rest of our order done by the following week. We said we wanted everything together so we would wait for the following week as our deadline. I had sent our artwork in to Jeff on Thursday, June 21. I had not heard anything back from them. I called and was told: Jeff isn't in today so they couldn't see how far along the art work is. Multiple times, they told me, "Did Jeff not send you the proofs yet? I told him to do that days ago! We will have him send it tomorrow." On Thursday, July 5, after calling and emailing numerous times, I was told they did not have the artwork or know where I wanted everything placed. I resent all the artwork on July 5 with detailed, hand drawn pictures as to the exact locations of where each print would go for all 5 of our batches. Later in the day, I started to receive proofs of some of our garments. On July 6, I asked if they would like me to come in so I could sit with them and tell them exactly what we wanted. They told me that they would be able to finalize the proofs and we were able to set up to meet with them on Monday, July 9 to pick ink colors for our shirts. On July 9, we were able to pick out our colors. Jeff confirmed with both myself and the owner of our company that we would have our shirts within 7-10 days. On July 11, I emailed to see if they needed anything else before those 7-10 days were up. I did not hear back from them. On July 20, I spoke with Mary and left voicemails with Gail because I had not heard about our shirts. Mary told me that Gail was not in and that she had "no idea" of the status of our shirts. On July 22, I sent another email since they were past their deadline, AGAIN. On July 23, I received an email from Gail asking if they were okay to start production. Meaning they had not even started on our shirts during those 10 days they guaranteed us they would be done in. Gail told me if I did not like doing business with them, I could go somewhere else. She also told me if I wanted to go elsewhere, I would have to pay for all the work they had done. WHAT WORK?? On Monday, July 23, I sent a lengthy email asking for an update. Gail promised me that everything would be done by Friday, July 27. On Friday, July 27, I called Gail and she told me the shirts were not done. She also told me the shirts would be fair in quality. When I asked what that meant, she told me, "we don't work with people like you." I also told her we expected some sort of compensation for their repeated faults. She laughed at me and hung up the phone. I repeatedly tried to call back and they would not pick up the phone. I proceeded to go to the facility itself to speak with her. She showed me that out of the 5 batches we had given them, only 1 was done. 1 batch had not been started, and the other 3 were in the middle of being worked on. She informed me that they had only worked on our shirts that day. She promised me that everything would be done by Monday and I asked her how I could believe that after all the lies she told us. She said, "what do you want me to tell you?" I said, "I just want our shirts to be done." She told me everything would be done on Monday because she did not want to see me again. On Monday, July 30, I told our shirts were ready to be picked up. I was told I could pay by cash or check or with a 3% charge via credit card. They told me I had to pay that day or they would not give me my shirts. I brought the check and took the shirts. Gail told me, "See? We are worth the wait!" Upon further examination of every shirt, dozens of shirts were off center. There is uneven color intensity from one area of the shirt to another. handfuls of the de
