If you're seeking even the slightest bit of customer service, I strongly advise you to steer clear of this place! "Disgusting" doesn't begin to describe the manager (his name is Tom) and a cashier named Joshua; they are the rudest, most shameless, unscrupulous, and unprofessional employees at the Walgreens branch.Let me briefly recount the conflict: Yesterday, my child purchased a $100 Sony PlayStation Gift Scratch Card for his birthday at the Walgreens Branch located at 1 N Elmhurst Rd. Due to the poor quality of the card, the scratched layer rubbed off along with the play code underneath it. Consequently, my son couldn't even use the code. My wife approached a manager for assistance because the card lacked any useful information or contact numbers. The manager, whose name is Tom (she couldn't read his last name as he had covered his badge), arrogantly responded that it wasn't his responsibility. All she wanted was his assistance, given that his store sold goods of such poor quality. He quickly lost his temper and began yelling at my wife in front of my child and other customers.Joshua, the cashier who wasn't present at the beginning of the conversation, joined his boss and started shouting that he would call the police. In response, my wife said she'd be more than willing to call the police herself because the level of rudeness and insults from the Walgreens employees had crossed all boundaries. Despite numerous attempts to calm them down, Tom nearly pushed my wife out of the store, preventing her from making any purchases. If the Walgreens management were to read this, I implore them to take immediate disciplinary measures against these employees and lead training sessions to educate their staff on the importance of proper customer service. Such incidents not only tarnish the reputation of their branch but also impact the overall customer experience.

A lot of people complain about the wait of the pharmacy. Just so you all know, it maybe be a 30 day supply, the pharmacist has to make sure the meds are still covered by your insurance, if their are any changes to the medicine, such as the strength being changed and they have to check your profile to verify that change. Meds that are out of stock, that's not their fault. It depends if the manufacturer has sent any. There are shortages, like Xanax and wegovy. Nothing the pharmacy can do about that.

This is the worst pharmacy EVER! Rude staff, never have your medication ready on time, out of stock of medicine, if you call be prepared to be on hold for 30 minutes then be hung up on. They honestly don’t care about customer service and lack basic civil manners. Nikki the pharmacist is the worst.

I love going to this Walgreens, every staff I’ve encouraged was friendly. I usually order online and pick up orders in store. Never had any issues with pick up delay or anything. This is by far my favorite Walgreens in the area.

This store is horrible. I ordered cards for my child’s teachers for christmas. First, they didn’t print the photos, and then tried to give me someone else’s card. I understand a small mistake, but PUSHING the customer telling them the photos are theirs when the customer KNOWS it’s not theirs. There were other times where this store made me want to write this review. I wanted to see if they can turn a $10 into quarters, and this teen looks me up and down and gives me attitude saying we can’t do that. I would understand nicely telling me , but her attitude made me want to go behind the counter and punch her in the nose.

The pharmacy Staff are very disrespectful extremely not extremely unhelpful. Like if they don’t want to do this job. Very unqualified.I signed up for a covid test and flu test online. Went there to get tested they told me i can only get a PCR then they gave me the kit to perform the test on myself. “Rude and extremely un qualified people”

I had to go to 6 different pharmacies to get my monthly prescriptions filled this month, as no one had one of my medications in stock. Long story short, after being verbally abused by pharmacists at other Walgreens who could have assisted me but peters to make me feel like garbage, I was at the point where I considered giving up - not filling my prescriptions, going home, and just waiting to die without my medication. I didn't ask to be chronically ill. I didn't volunteer or sign up for it. It's hard enough to be chronically ill...... but to have people refuse to help you obtain the medications that you need to live, AND treat you like garbage for needing them....I cannot emphasize how much that DOES NOT HELP.This pharmacy was different. I called to see if they had it in stock and the person on the phone was so kind and helpful, that based on my experiences with Walgreens Pharmacists that morning, I assumed it was a Pharmacy Tech. Turns out it was the actual Pharmacist!!!!!! He took the time to check the quantity of medication on hand and assured me they could fill it and did. With the utmost kindness and friendliness, and without the need to make me feel subhuman, like other Walgreens Pharmacists. Then I grabbed some Halloween candy and went to the main check out where I had to wait 10 minutes while a customer argued with the clerk because the customer wanted the money that she was earning for her current purchase to be applied to that purchase. That's not how Walgreens points work, and they make that very clear. But this woman didn't speak English very well and obviously didn't understand how Walgreens points work, yet she was adamant that she get her $5. She didn't care that there were other people in line behind her, she didn't care how Walgreens rules work. People are horrible and selfish. The poor cashier was so patient and explained to her over and over that she was earning the money on this purchase, not applying it. The customer didn't understand and got louder and angrier, so the cashier finally just broke her order in two, so she could earn the money on the first part of the order, and then apply it to the second part. That poor cashier. She did a great job of dealing with a very difficult customer without developing any attitude. I had just dealt with several pharmacist who couldn't deal with a very kind and meek customer (that would be me) withOUT severe attitude. So I appreciate kindness wherever I see it. I appreciate this cashier, and I appreciate this pharmacy.

Good store overall, but pharmacy services have declined noticeably over the last few years. The pharmacy is clearly understaffed and unable to keep up with demand.

Went onto their photo app to make sure I could get photos I needed done that night. When I arrived to pick up I was told they were put on hold until the morning. When I explained I NEEDED them tonight and would not have ordered through them or waited the hour had I known, I got attitude & apathy by employees who were chatting with one another. Thankfully the Walgreens down the road had no issue being helpful.

Came to pick up COVID tests a full 20 minutes before closing. Employees had already locked the doors and did not acknowledge me.

This pharmacy is completely lazy!!!! Every time I have a prescription filled that has a coupon on file they never apply it unless you go through the hassle of calling them or having to complain when you pick it up. What is so hard to apply it when it is being filled? If it wasn't for the fact that my insurance says I have to use them I wouldn't. Never had this problem at CVS!!!
