“Maqsood is the best! He works most evenings. I’ve been going to Marathon for 20+ years and I think Maqsood has been there almost all of those years. He is the kindest! Always greets me with a “Hello my friend” and is super helpful and friendly to me and my family/friends. What is really telling about how patient and helpful he is, is even though he knows I’m a regular customer-I see him treating everyone who comes in with great customer service. Thankful to have such a great employee at our local gas station. Bathrooms are always clean. Shelves are always stocked. There are other great workers there too, I just know Maqsood really likes what he does and takes pride in his work.I wanted to add that I saw some 1 star reviews about Marathon closing early….in 20 years going to this gas station it has never closed early except for reducing hours during the pandemic (which rightfully so, we were under quarantine and the area was empty in the evenings) I even think if I am not mistaken they extended their hours from 10pm to 11pm so those negative reviews about closing early had to have been a result of a holiday, emergency or during the pandemic.”

“Super convenient location for me. There's usually not a lot of cars here, so it's easy to get in and out of here fast--totally ideal when I'm on my way to work. They do take Fuel Rewards points, too.”

“I stopped at Thorntons to get some gas. I was able to get in and out relatively easily. The credit card machine was way to use. The gas prices were similar to that of other gas stations in the area. I highly recommend Thorntons in Arlington Heights.”
