    The home is lovely, the New Orleans Room wonderful, and the breakfast scrumptious. Our hostess, Pat, was very pleasant and accommodating. The town is small but historic, and the nearby partially rebuilt Fort de Chartres is the only stone fort constructed by the French in the heart of North America.

    We stayed here the night before the eclipse and it was AMAZING. We will definitely be back. The house and rooms were absolutely gorgeous. The breakfast was fantastic and the service was impeccable. Connie and her staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home. I would highly recommend this place.

    Tina and Pat were fabulous! They made our stay very enjoyable!Rooms: Beautiful rooms! Very Victorian and ornate.Food & drinks: Food was delicious and plenty of drinks to choose from.
