I recently visited Shells in Posen, Illinois, and had a disappointing experience. I went in to buy a Dutch Java cigar, which was labeled on the package as $1.50. However, when I got to the register, the cashier charged me $1.85 instead. This is an American violation.
What made the situation worse was that I noticed someone had used a permanent marker to cover up the original price on the package. This felt dishonest and misleading. I understand prices can change, but covering up the actual price and charging more at the register without any explanation feels like deceptive business practice.
When I questioned the cashier about this, I was told that other stores in the area are doing the same thing. This is even more concerning and suggests that this might be a broader issue.
I would advise others to double-check prices at this location before making a purchase. I hope the management addresses this issue to ensure fair and transparent pricing in the future.

It's cool for Mexicans to drink n talk loudly inside this gas station for 4 hrs everyday but black people can't wait on a Uber inside after purchasing 20$ worth of items. Also the over night guy racially profiles black people and illegally changes prices. We have set him up numerous of times

*BEWARE* My husband use to come to this gas station every morning on his way to work to buy drinks and get gas. Unfortunately while in the store someone jumped into the car and took off. This was about 5am in the morning. The worker and owner refused to let us see the video to possibly identify the thief. If you don't want to put yourself at risk of getting carjacked then skip this gas station because they will not help you.

I suggest not to use their car wash. I had my car in neutral as recommended while going through the car wash. I was near the end of the car wash when i hear this loud noise from the back of my van. I noticed my entire rear window had been shattered by this car wash. I made the cashier aware he stated that they are not responsible. I asked for owner's contact information and was given a number and no name at first. I asked for cashiers name as a point of reference and he pretty much informs me he has the same name as the owner. He did not apologize. He did not attempt to take a look at the damage. Proceed at your own risk for a car wash at this place. I now have to find the money to pay for a new rear windowshield.
