This Dealer gets two stars from me because of their service department.
Eli the sales person gets 6 stars he is the best, but they really need to do something about their service department. I bought a new ram 2500 about a year and a half ago, it has 28000 miles now and I bought it in because of service engine light on which is way too early for that to happen (that really worries me) the guy said it was going to be a few days to fix it but the guy at the desk is not willing to give me a car to drive until I get my truck back, I really don’t think it’s too much to ask when I spent 80 thousand dollars on a Diesel truck. They told me they would call me back but they never do. This is a horrible customer service experience after I get my truck back I’m not doing business with them again. Get better people and it starts with management.

Thank you for always having a top not h service dept. The entire staff from the time I brought my vehicle in for service til the moment it was completed they were detailed. Updated me, completely along the way. Diagnosed the issue and the repair was made, very efficiently.

I purchased a ‘23 Ram Rebel from Dempsey DCJR of Plano, IL last weekend. First, I spoke to Jesse on the phone about the truck and she was very helpful and knowledgeable. She said I could come test drive when it was convenient to me and had the vehicle ready when I arrived. Then I met London and he was one of the best salesmen I’ve ever had! Super helpful, never pushy and extremely kind. He answered every question I had and worked with me to achieve a price I could afford on a truck I couldn’t be any happier with. Jim in finance was knowledgeable and helpful as well! I enjoyed my entire experience so much I’ll get my (new to me) Ram serviced at Dempsey in the future. Possibly the best experience I’ve had purchasing a vehicle before!

Best dealership!! Everyone there's is so nice. I dealt with the service department today they were so nice and helpful getting warranty work done on my jeep. I will honestly never go to another dealership!!!

When you think of a sleazy car salesman, think of this place. Stay far away from this place as they lie and waste your time. I was looking for a car and found two with great low mileage which looked great in the pictures. I called the dealership to inquire if they were both available to see. The phone continued to ring repeatedly and then I was hung up on. I dropped it and moved on. After a few minutes, they stalked me and called me back (I was unable to leave a message so I didn’t plan on them calling me back), I received a phone call from the dealer and spoke with Jesse E. Shocked that they called me back, Again, never provided a number. I asked her if the two cars that I was interested in were available. She replied yes and to please come in to see them as they would be “worthwhile”. It was 3:30 pm and the dealership closed at 5:00 pm. I stated that I lived over 50 miles away and wasn’t sure that we could make it in time. Again, she asked me to come and see the cars. She then told me that it would be worth my time as they have a lower tax rate to make up for the lengthy drive. However, you pay sales tax based on where you live. A dealership should know that and not use that to entice people to come in. I agreed to come see the cars and she replied that they were available. I arrived at 4:18 pm at the dealership and spotted one of the cars. The pictures did not accurately reflect the condition of the car. The car had sun damage, scratches, a hole from a bullet or BB gun, and the front windshield had been replaced but a shotty job was done. My husband and I walked away and a salesperson quickly came out. We shared that we had an appointment with Jesse E. He never allowed us to meet her. RED FLAG!!! He walked us into a backroom and wanted all our information before we could look at any cars. RED FLAG!!! I sadly had to spell my first name-Nicole-- to him twice. RED FLAG!!! He then came back with an iPad with my cell phone number (which I didn’t give to him). I gave him a home number. RED FLAG! He shared that he would bring both cars into the warehouse for us to see. We told him not to bring in the one car that we already looked at in the lot. It was TOO damaged. He disappeared and left us sitting there for a while. He was walking back and forth so my husband and I knew something suspicious was going on. He came to say that he was trying to locate the car. We saw the car parked in the warehouse against the wall. He disappeared again and brought back his general manager to tell us that the car had been sold. How was a car sold in an hour when we were the ONLY people in the dealership? No apology for wasting our time and 100 miles of gas. We left. Jesse E. responded by text (again I never gave her my phone number--she just stalked it) saying that a customer was there earlier that day and just came back to finalize it. NOBODY else was there--only us. Also, If someone had come in to purchase it, she had my number to call or text me even though I never gave it out! STAY AWAY! I came home and the car was still listed on their website. Do your job and update your system to reflect the inventory that you have!

I bought a Jeep from Dempsey Dodge recently. I appreciate our sales persons (Steve) approach to letting my family and I test the vehicles to really figure out which one was right for us. We were able to get in out, and test drive while we had all three kids with us, with zero pressure to buy.
Also, the covered showroom space to inspect the models was a nice feature on a hot day.
Overall, great experience for buying a car.

3 stars because I actually liked the service staff I dealt with in person overall….but…. What’s the one job a service department has when service is completed and before they’re closed for the night? To call and let the customer know there were no problems and the job is finished. They failed at that. The invoice has my correct phone number, other information on the invoice is incorrect but my phone number is perfect so they definitely should’ve been able to call me to leave a message but no they did not. I would approach this place with caution in the future.

OMG worst ever I didn't even go there just talked to a pushy salesman over phone who wanted to pre-approved me...ran my credit 6 places. How rude it is on my credit..hard inquires. Very very very.rude and invasive

Service here is excellent. Seriously, they are an extremely customer focused service department. I dropped off my vehicle for service, and it was treated with respect and all my concerns were addressed. If you have gone to any other Mopar dealerships in the Chicago area, you know what they are like. Not great. My wife has an Acura, and I was always jealous of the red carpet treatment she would get when taking hers in. Not any more!

Showed up for a gift card promotion and they gave me $200 bucks just for showing up. Only dealer I have seen not offering a scam promotion. Will be a returning customer!

It was our first experience buying a car in more than 6 years and I’m so glad we chose Dempsey Dodge/Ram. Their customer service was exceptional! They made you feel they wanted your business but never once made us feel pressured or rushed into a decision. We had been researching a new truck for a while and the one we gladly close was a perfect fit. They took the time to make sure we knew about all the extras on the truck and how to use each feature. They thoroughly explained all our options for financing and made the entire process smooth and seamless. I will definitely recommend their services and dealership to anyone shopping for a new vehicle.
