Tony is one great mechanic with great knowledge and experience about all types of cars, he totally rebuilt my VW transmission at a very reasonable price compared to what dealerships was asking for and my car is now running so smoothly like brand new Vehicle. I will recommend him anytime.

I took my truck here to get a break issue fixed. Tony did an amazing job. I really appreciated how he was able to take care of the issue quickly, and explained what was needed and why it needed. Prices were very reasonable.

I was searching around for a quote to get my sparks plugs replaced for my VW. I came across T.A.G. Automotive and talked with Tony. He did an outstanding job with getting them replaced and going above and beyond to make sure that there weren't any other possible issues with the vehicle. Very honest and kind individual. I look forward to bringing in my car again with them.

I had my honda ridgeline & infiniti in for work. He did the job at a fair price. I will be coming back here in the future for any work needed. It's one of those places you that are hard to come by. Honest mechanic is here....thanks Tony

Tony did an excellent job. Did my front brakes on a Sat at a very reasonable price. Friendly guy. Price matched his quote. Car was done quickly. He showed me how little wear my existing brake pads actually had left. Tony has some interesting hours. He's open from 11-5 M-Sat. Closed Sun. Tony prefers cash, but will accept credit cards. Hard to locate repair shop as its behind main building , but he does good work.

I'm so grateful I went to T.A.G Automotive. After being told by 3 different shops that they were unable to help with my electrical wires in my headlight, Tony was able to resolve my issue all while I was on my lunch break.I called and he gave me the time to come, and I was impressed that as I was turning in, he was waiting for me. He even told me that I can come back next week and do an overall check under the car to make sure everything is good. Tony is a great guy, honest, fair priced, will qork with your timeline, and extremely knowledgeable. It's nice to know that Plainfield has a good small family mechanic again without breaking the bank.

I am so happy that I found T.A.G Automotive. I took my Range Rover to Tony to get a second opinion & price about my sway bar & Bushings and Tony was awesome! He gave me a super competitive quote and gave me all of the professional details of what needed to be replaced! I will never go back to the dealership again! Sometimes being a women it feels like the dealership takes advantage of the lack of knowledge that we have for repairs. However, Tony gave me all the details of what to expect and exactly what needed to be repaired. He didn't find all kind of issues just to raise my bill. The day of service was a breeze. I was so happy to get back into my car and not hear that grinding noise that drove me crazy for weeks! I will have already made a future appointment for other repairs on my vehicle. Thank you T.A.G!
