I’ve never had a pleasant experience with the owner, she is always very rude and uppity. Was recently at an estate sale and overheard her insulting my brother when she didn’t know I was with him. Insulting regular customers is not a good way to do business. We will not be returning to any of her sales, and I encourage others to do the same

Went to one of their estate sales located in Plainfield in a barn. The woman who approached us was middle aged, blonde hair, glasses... she was so RUDE. This woman should not be interacting with customers, she has zero customer service skills. The sale was extremely unorganized, no pricing, and when we asked for a price, she put some crazy high number on the item, which by the way was filthy from sitting in a barn for years. When we questioned the price, she very rudely attempted to coach us on pricing and how much she resells items for in her store... she said that she owns an antique mall and has been buying and reselling for over 20 years. LOL... no words for people like this. But what I do have words for is, these are the type of sales that ALL buyers need to steer clear of and potential customers needing an estate sale company need to steer clear of. Any estate sale company that has an antique mall, warehouse, clean out service is a HUGE red flag.

I've been to this store many times and I really like it. It's a hidden little gem. The parking can be a little tricky but it is jam packed with antiques and actual antiques not home goods items like most "antique" stores I have been to lately. The owner is very nice actually and she talks to you. I enjoy talking to her so I don't understand the other reviews. She lets you browse and shop around just fine. I always buy something. This is hands down my favorite antique store. Just wish she was open on Sundays. That's my favorite day to go to antique stores!!

I used to always want to go in here whenever i had my braces adjusted at the orthodontist across the street--not gonna lie i wish i didn't go. The owner was cranky and rude and started talking bad about the restaurants on the main street because people would come in with their leftovers???? like i was just there to browse and she starts talking about how she gets annoyed with the young people coming in, mind you I was only 18 at the time of this conversation. She was generally unpleasant and unprofessional and should rename her shop to gloomyside seeing as she can't handle some teenagers coming in to possibly find some of the antiques new homes. I'm shocked there aren't more reviews for this place at all, but seeing as it's not on the main road in downtown plainfield I can see why.

If you are going to downtown Plainfield IL, definintely talk a walk through Sunnsyside Antiques! Across the street from the library. They have all things antique with beautiful displays. Tea cups to quality crafts and enough glitter and sparkles to make a girl happy!

Was excited to try this place out the other day. Picked out some items. Was there for half hour. At the end was finally told it was CASH ONLY. Make sure ya got cash before ya come in. Otherwise you will walk out empty handed and wasting your time. No sign on front door. This is a great sign here lol.

First time coming here just exploring all of the small shops in the area and I was disappointed in this place. I truthfully wanted to browse around but it didn't happen because the owner who works here does not want casual shoppers in her store it seems. She seemed nice but didn't want us in her store. I was here for 4 or 5 minutes casually browsing the store for products of interest to have before being approached and asked if I was searching for something in particular. It's a store thats been around for decades it seems so I'm also shocked there's not more reviews on this place. It has a handicap exit as well. It's really tight to walk around

Fantastic selection of antiques and Christmas decorations. I was searching for dishes with a cherry blossom pattern to compliment a couple of pieces from my grandmothers estate. I was over joyed to find a serving platter. The owner, Susie, is very knowledgeable about the pieces in her store as well as history of Plainfield, IL. Definitely worth the time to stop in and browse the many items.

I really love this little gem of a place. It's really crowded so hard to walk around a bit but the owner is so nice and I love their hours and so much to pick from at cheap prices

So, it’s Saturday and it’s a few minutes to 5pm and we saw the open sign so stopped to park and walk up to the store just for the lady to walk out and say we close at 5pm. A shame that you go to support a small business and they decline not one person but an entire group of five people to shop in their store. Come on folks. If you’re going to have a small business be willing to stay open longer for walkers by on a Saturday in the evening during Chatham break when the trees are all lit; what’s the point in coming to a small town to a small business if the stores aren’t open?
