“I typically buy alcohol at the grocery store for convenience when we’re already out. However, we were hosting and I was in a time pinch so I went to the nearest liquor store, which was Liquor 1. I noticed there wasn’t much variety but I found something that would work. At checkout, the gentleman informed me he had just taken over the store and that hours would be extended and there will be much more variety soon, as ownership was in the process of being transferred. Upon leaving, he noticed my young daughter looking at one of the toys and as a kind gesture offered for her to take one. I thought that was so thoughtful and shows what type of caring and generous owner he was. We will be back.”
