We love that Kiddie Academy has a structured curriculum and they teach numbers and letters. Also, the fact they never cancel on us for staffing issues is a big plus. Before we came to Kiddie Academy we struggled a lot with that issue with Kinder Care. We also like the streaming option, you can watch your kid's classrom activity from your smartphone.

MY REVIEW WAS DELETED SO I AM POSTING A SECOND TIME!My children were enrolled for about 18 months at this facility before Dad and I decided to unenroll them indefinitely. The very first day they arrived, upon picking them up my son had marks all on his arm as if he was bitten several times. I brought It to the attention of the front desk and they managed to calm me down and reassure me they would review the cameras - they never did. As a parent, I should have trusted my intuition and removed them from this facility that very first day. My son would come home and tell us that his teacher, Ms. Amanda, didn't like him so we requested a classroom change with Ms. Jezera who was absolutely amazing. My daughter had a consistent revolving door of teachers; her nose would be completely crusted upon pickup as if she wasn't being tended to. Jezera and her sister Jasenia, who later became my daughters teacher, as well as Ms. Brittney are easily the only teachers in the entire facility that I trusted with my children. Once my son aged out of Ms. Jezera's class he was placed into a classroom with Katie's son, the director. All of a sudden they claimed he was having behavioral issues when in actuality he was being bullied by Katie's son and other classmates and management refused to do anything about it despite our continuous requests for a classroom change, which was once honored previously. Katie shows complete favoritism towards her children and would make inappropriate comments to my child. There is a current DCFS investigation as well as attorneys involved due to an incident that occurred on 7/12. Upon picking my children up from this facility, my son had marks on his hips telling me his teacher, Ms. Terrah was pinching him ( as part of disciplinary measures) upon review of their cameras and an exam of my child these accusations proved to be 100% correct. The only thing I commend this daycare on is their swift response as Terrah was terminated within the hour, however, their continuous lack of due diligence in hiring competent staff and addressing issues at their core would have prevented the continuous mistreatment of my son during his entire enrollment here. This facility over the course of the entire 18 months continued to lose my trust and the ONLY reason I kept putting faith in them is due to the strong relationships I had with the teachers listed; their promise to ensure my children were safe was appreciated but they of course can only do so much. This is the first and last daycare my children will ever attend!

This the worst day care center I seen after visiting around 4-5 day cares around my area. They hire cheap faculties who don't care about kids or their progress. The management is just about making money. I went to enroll my 3 year old son but I received an idea from other parents in the premise that its not even close to good anywhere for our little munchies. I left immediately after getting same response from other parents. New parents be careful as they do lots of marketing strategies and canvassing for getting enrolled but none of them is put into practice. I still wonder how did it receive good rating but for me its a BIG NOOOO!

Do not enroll you kids to this academy, they don't care about the kids, teachers are ignoring the kids and they don't teach them anything. They will leave the kids crying all day and will not try to help them or even tell the parents. So disappointed!!

I cannot say enough good things about this facility, the staff, as well as the director Katie! I just started bringing my children here in August & they absolute love it. School is honestly my kids favorite place to be. When they aren’t home with myself or my husband they know that every morning they can go and be kept safe, have fun, and get a great learning experience. Katie strives to make each Child and parent at ease with just a smile and a positive attitude. If anybody has a negative thing to say about this facility or the staff in it; it’s definitely a personal issue and not an issue of significance. As long as my children are in the age bracket to be here, they will be enrolled!

Every parent who wants to put their children to day care has lots of questions in their minds, worried ness and they always wants best for their children. Kiddie acedemy in Plainfield puts each parents to ease, there professionalism, their comfort and care for each children and making sure we all feel comfortable in that atmosphere. All the staff members are so responsive, caring and professional specially I am so thankful to Katie and Jeannie who are always there to help and taking time out for ensuring and taking care of our children’s. I have started this academy last month and my children loves their new acedemy, everyday they teach children with different activities and due to this pandemic they frequently wash hands and take every measures for clean virus free environment. I highly recommended to any parent to put their children in this day care without any hesitations, you and your children will love this acedemy.

Do NOT send your kids here!!! The director Katie is a terrible person and very much plays favoritism with staff and families. She wants to tell you how your life should be run instead of doing what’s best for the kids. I took my child out after my child told me something that Katie asked about his father and that is inappropriate and unprofessional. The owner needs to really evaluate how this facility is run and make the appropriate changes before he loses all his business.

We love this daycare. Our grandson has been there since about 9 weeks old, he is now 4. Teachers are very caring. Our grandson has learned a great deal here, which will help for kindergarten.

I just started sending my daughter here a month ago. This was her first ever daycare and so we were all nervous. However, the teachers here have been phenomenal in helping her transition smoothly. Needless to mention, she is learning a lot and her vocabulary has flourished very quickly after starting here. The managing staff are all very supportive and truly work hard in creating a close-to-home experience for the kids! I couldn’t have found another better daycare for my daughter.

The best place ever... my daughter started academy from last 3 months and she loves it . Her enthusiasm for learning has grown and every day looks forward to go to her school. She is learning Spanish as part of their curriculum which is amazing as third language. The staff and teachers are great and polite.

My grandson loves his "school" and in essence it is school because he's learned so much. His language skills (comprehension/expressive) have come so far. He's learning to interact with his friends and be part of a group. All of those pre-k skills like colors, shapes, the alphabet, numbers, etc are part of the curriculum. Yes, there is a curriculum, this isn't babysitting. The facility is appealing to kids, the staff has always been friendly and also good about keeping us informed as to how his day went. Can't ask for more in quality care for your child. That peace of mind is huge.

I previously gave this facility 5 stars.. its clean, the staff was amazing, and I never really had any issues with my children. Once Stacey left, everything changed. Turn over was constant, meaning your children dont get the personalized care they once did because its a new teacher every other week. I had issues with my kid only being changed 2x a day[8 to 10 hr days]...diaper rashes, tons of potty accidents when at home he has none... some of the teachers there are great but for the most part it is a total miss. A child had been left outside for 20 to 30 min at a time unattended. He was only found because someone heard him crying while passing the door..And also a child left inside while the class went outside. If you ever get the chance. Check on your kid unexpectedly..you might walk into the room to a teacher threatening to put hot sauce in your child's mouth... (ive heard it)..The Oswego location let an 18 month old slip thru a fence and almost wander on to douglas road..the training is sub par, the management is a joke, i would not trust my child at any kiddie academy facility.. and trust that im not just some random disgruntled parent. It took alot to happen before removing my 3 children after 5 years...
