I always like going to this store shelves are always stocked and staff is friendly. I recently visited the bakery shop and just picked up a small cake for a friend and didn’t want to buy a huge cake. I asked the very helpful staff in the back by the name of Ellie if she could fit Happy Birthday and my friends name on the small cake. Without a doubt she said absolutely, asked what color, and she made it fit and it looked beautiful. I know most people would have just said no because they didn’t want the hassle but thank you Ellie for stopping what you were doing to assist me and did an excellent job. I wish there were moreover people like you in the world. Jewel Osco please praise your employees that do a great job and go above and beyond.

Picked up a corsage from the flower center today as its homecoming. My daughter special ordered a rose. I picked it up brought it home and she was upset it was the wrong color. It was supposed to be baby blue. It was TEAL. I brought it back. The older woman working was the worst to deal with. I'm in the customer service industry and she was very unhelpful and rude. Don't work in the CS industry if you Don't like people

I've been going to this location on and off for over 10 years and I can say every single time I go I'm constantly reminded why I stay away. This store has some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced, and it's astounding how they're consistent about it. No longer shopping here and wouldn't recommend you do either.

I had a terrible experience with the customer service at a vaccum cleaner rental corner.
I rented a vacuum cleaner for a day, but it was not functioning properly and caused several gallons of water to leak onto my carpet overnight. The next day, I spent half of the day trying to remove the wet stain caused by the vacuum cleaner. When I realized I wouldn't be able to return the vacuum cleaner on time, I called the store and asked if I could keep it for another day. Unfortunately, the woman on the phone didn't ask for details, so I didn't explain why I needed to keep it longer. When I returned the vacuum cleaner, the woman who took it from me didn't seem interested in hearing my explanation. She charged me $50 for the extra day when the advertised rate was $10. I also saw her putting the broken vacuum cleaner back on the shelf for someone else to rent. I hope that whoever rents it next will have a better experience than I did.
To summarize my experience, I spent around $140 on a broken vacuum cleaner and cleaning supplies. Additionally, I will have to pay hundreds of dollars to repair my living room floor which was ruined due to the faulty vacuum cleaner. On top of that, I had a terrible experience dealing with this women who strictly adheres to the rules. I hope she feels proud of herself, but in my opinion, she shouldn't be working with people.

a good majority of the things in bags over by the fruit are expired. the cranberries for example, couldn’t even get what i wanted because they were all expired.. 80% of the time i shop here and don’t use self check out the bagger is extremely rough with bagging and i always end up with something broken open. cashier was rude as well and just overall was not a pleasant experience.

It’s a great place to get food, staff and the managers are very helpful but they have the WORST customers. Like I thought a place like Plainfield would have better manner people but nope. You go here prepare to see some Karen and their husband yelling at the staff and whoever is near by. They even try and drag other people into those arguments.
