Less than one star. I called to inquire if I could speak with someone about a tax issue and the woman who answered cut me off immediately going into her personal work availability..."I'm going to stop you right there. I only work on Wednesdays. I am part time. We're short staffed." She then exited the conversation by saying good luck. Appreciate when a business is unable to take on clients, but there is a professional way to handle that doesn't negatively impact your company's reputation...if that is something you value.

One misunderstanding and dropped us like a hot potato.Been going for years and never any problems. I was having heart palpitations after being told I was being taxed on something that shouldn't be taxed. Good accountant there!!!

This place is a scam. They did our taxes and told us we owed money, which we ended up paying. Later we find out we didn't owe all that money and I confronted them. They told us they will look into it, but few days later we get a letter. Saying not to contact their agency anymore. DO NOT GO HERE

Berman and sons have been helping us with taxes for about a decade. We have never had issues except this past year the IRS decided we owed more than we agreed to let them have, Berman and sons stood behind their work and let the IRS know they were in error not us and the IRS agreed that we had indeed payed what was owed to the government. It's nice to have someone that can stand with you when you need tax help and Berman and sons will do that. Easy to work with and are there when things go wrong can't say that about everyone.

They have been preparing our taxes for years and all of a sudden we get a letter in the mail saying that the person that has done them for us has left the company and they just haven't had the time to replace her and that we can mail in all our paperwork and maybe & maybe not get to them ? I've lost all confidence in this firm and their ability to handle any of of financial affairs thus further. How sad that after all those years of trust be thrown in the trash .

I have been using their service for several years, Stephanie does an excellent job. She and the office staff are friendly, courteous, and professional. Also, they are very responsive and helpful in answering questions or concerns you have about your taxes.
