“Everyone at All Paws Veterinary is top notch! We couldn't be happier for the excellent care and treatments our fur babies receive at every single visit. All the doctors, techs, and staff are professional, very knowledgeable, thorough, compassionate, & caring. We know our furry kids are in great hands. Thank you to everyone at All Paws!”
“I could not be more thankful for having found this veterinary practice. The people here made one of the very worst times of my life more bearable/navigable. My BELOVED Matilda became ill with liver cancer, and thanks to Dr. Stone's knowledgeable and kind care, my girl was able to live a bit longer than she might have, and I was able to have that much more precious time with her. It meant everything. Not only was I able to give her every last sniff of grass that I could, but I was given time to slowly grasp and accept the truth - that she was leaving me and on her way to the Rainbow Bridge... And then the day came...
We could not have asked for a better outcome to a more heartbreaking day. She had been really sick the night before, and I knew the time had come. I would never want my baby to suffer - and gratefully, she didn't. I called Hampshire Animal Hospital, and they scheduled what's called a quality of life assessment appointment with Dr. Stover - who, by the way, like everyone there, was wonderful. Once there, Gwen took us into a bright little room and gave my baby some treats. Shortly after, we and Dr. Stover discussed the unthinkable... the unavoidable. It was time.
The nice vet techs brought in soft blankets and laid them on the floor. We laid her down and loved and loved on her. And she was NOT nervous or afraid. They allowed us as much time as we needed to love and say goodbye. And when WE let them know it was time - there was NO rushing - my angel was given the medication that allowed her to slip ever so peacefully from this life, to the next. It was the worst day of my life, but it was peaceful. My girl was at rest.
I cried and I cried and and as long as I took with her, I took. And then we said our final goodbye and left.
I had asked God to help me with it. To make it be as 'good' as it could be. And in sending me to Hampshire, he did. And I was, and I am, so grateful.
A week or so later, I received ink prints of my Matilda's nose and paws, free of charge. And later, I received a lovely and very thoughtful condolence card that included a copy of the Rainbow poem. Both of our very busy doctors had each taken the time to write a sweet and sympathetic sentiment about our dear Matilda inside.
Some time later, I went to receive her ashes. I am sure that the urn inside is beautiful, but I have yet to open the box. I just can't do it yet.
Anyway, I have taken the time to write this so that others may know that Hampshire Animal Hospital and Gilberts Animal Clinic are a veterinary practice that will truly help you and your beloved animal both before and in your darkest hours.
We give our deepest thanks to everyone there.
***UPDATE*** Google asked me for an update, so my update is that I love this vet, as always! I brought my other little senior guy there today, and Dr. Stover and everyone else there was as wonderful as ever! :)”
“Dr. Masterton was the vet that took care of Spike and of all the drs that I have dealt with at Cleveland (3 dogs that were recently seen there) I like her approach and appreciate how she provides explanation”
“10/10 experience with this vet. They have the best people working there and provide exceptional care for our fur babies. Prices are fair and they even check to see if they can provide additional services your pet might need while they already have them sedated like dental cleaning. Thanks for being so great!!”
“Excellent care, really cared about my dog. Gave honest answers, gave options on treatments for serious enjoy with chances of successful outcome even if spent a lot of money.”
“Dr. Mark spent an hour with me to examine my cat. He explained everything in detail and made sure I understood everything. Very thorough and experienced vet. Jody is wonderful, always ready to help and answer any questions. I am extremely thankful I found this clinic, and I highly recommend them.”
“We have always been really happy with Dundee Animal Hospital. Dr. Lathrop and staff are wonderful and provide compassionate, straight forward care at standard prices. I like that they also have an after hours service and hospital should we need it.”
“We take both of our Frenchies here, and Dr Blondin and Dr Benz do an excellent job. No complaints! Our family takes their dogs here too. Given the number of maladies, infections, allergies, and diseases French Bulldogs typically have, we appreciate all the support from ROAH!”
“If you want to be treated as family and actual people that love animals.. this is the place..This was not my vet... my 12 year old bull mastiff sadly needed to go to heaven... We called numerous new and old vets and they didn't want to help an animal in pain. Which is their prime responsibility.. I'm giving ten stars not five... Thanks Duda Family”
“December 18, 2022. My birthday. Most veterinarians are still operating under Covid and pandemic regulations. And we’re not open on weekends. I rescue that my partner and I saved together was in the last part of her life. Suffering and suddenly becoming paralyzed and in a ton of pain I frantically called trying to find a veterinarian that would service my cat nobody was open. I called virtual veterinarian about 31 minutes after they closed to my surprise they picked up in a panic I quickly explained what was going on with my cat but it was my birthday and I did not know what to do and could not find anybody to help me. He had us bring her in immediately, despite having somewhere important to go he waited for us to come from Sycamore to Virgil to treat our cat. We gave her sedatives and painkillers and she had a peaceful 24 hours before we got her back the next day and he put her down with respect and dignity. It was very clear that day that they had something else going on that was very important but they took the time to care and the empathy to make my little baby peach feel better. That allowed us to have 24 hours more with our kitty. Free from pain and, One terrible birthday a little easier to bear. This vet is an older gentleman and he might struggle to keep things up to a standard that privileged people in the area might expect however he is a vet in the middle of nowhere quite literally in the country and he he rescues quite a few different animals and cares for them. He deeply cares for his career and what he does and that’s clear and how he treats his animals it might be a little bit rough around the edges. But the Care inside is worth going for.”

10N051 Kendall Rd, Elgin“Kendall Road Equine Hospital is a place I’d describe as liking and appreciating, but hoping to avoid if possible! Lol
I’m very blessed to have an equine hospital like Kendal Road Equine Hospital near my barn! Over the past several years I’ve used this hospital for my own horses as well as helped others with their horses during emergencies and trust their staff to be willing and honest with me about the care they give. I’ve seen different veterinarians and veterinary technicians over my visits and I appreciate the communication they have with me, which isn’t always the strongest point in a veterinary facility! In my experience they have been good at being forthcoming and helpful about anything they aren’t comfortable or not able to do at their facility and make suggestions accordingly.
In addition, I’ve also used Kendal Road Equine Hospital for other non emergencies. My horses and I have had good experiences with the staff and especially like the convenience of the facility!
The goal is always to avoid situations needing the vet but it’s great to have good ones like at Kendal Road Equine Hospital when you need it!”
“I love this place!! Everyone is super nice and very knowledgeable. We love seeing Dr. Amy Redecker. She is amazing! She takes such good care of our pets. We are lucky to find such caring people that love our pets.”
“The entire staff at the hospital was extremely compassionate and kind. The were quick to respond and very easy to work with. We brought in our sick dog, Stu, this week and made the difficult decision to euthanize him. Dr. Burgess was very forthcoming with his prognosis and we appreciated that candor. Our previous vet had not been as realistic and forthcoming about him. We think it prolonged his suffering and gave us false hope. When we brought him in to say goodbye they were very thoughtful about our visit. They brought us directly into the room so we didn't have to go through the main entrance. They explained the entire process to us and gave us time to be with him. They sent us home with lots of support resources and memories. They took the time to print a picture of him and provided us with a memory book for us to write our favorite memories of him. It's the little things like that, that make this difficult time bearable.”
“Dr Spencer is absolutely amazing. He has taken wonderful care of our Mia for the last 4 years. He’s passionate, thorough, friendly, caring and always goes above and beyond. He truly loves his job and animals. Dr Jane and Joe hit the jackpot when they brought Dr Spencer aboard! We’ve been part of HVH for over 20 years. Dr Spencer is a true asset to the practice. He’s taken great care of all of our Pitties. The staff is amazing, always courteous, smiling and friendly. Vanessa was there with a big hug, along with Dr Spencer during some sad moments.❤️❤️”
“Very caring vet who I squeezed me in when my senior cat was not well and my regular vet was not available. She was thorough with a good bedside manner, and prices were quite reasonable (less than other vets I’ve been to with my cats and fosters). Clean office. I would recommend.”

“The shelter vets provide low cost vaccine clinics throughout the area. My dogs have been vaccinated by them for many years. They provide a wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable service. Check online for their schedule. We go to our local Siers Feed & Pet Supplies in town. Couldn't be mire convenient!”

11804 IL-47, Huntley“We have worked with Dr. Phillips and Dr. Shipley for our cats Maro and Violette and they have both been wonderful. The staff here is always caring and considerate. We heartbreakingly lost Maro this year, but we were able to connect him with specialists thanks to referrals which gave us a successful care plan that kept him comfortably with us for so much longer, and it all started with Huntley Animal Care. They continue to give us great care for Violette as she's approaching her senior years. Thank you, everyone at HAC!”

25 N Western Ave, Carpentersville“We took our dog Coke (brother named Pepsi) to Springhill Veterinary Clinic last week. We adopted Coke from an Aussie Rescue Organization about 7 years ago when he was 2 or 3. He had been very abused before he was rescued, so he was very anxious and frightened of many things and situations. He has improved a lot, but is still very scared in several situations, on being riding in the car, and another being entering strange places. He was very anxious when we brought him in, but the people at Springhill were so king and calming. We brought Coke in because he'd been acting pretty sluggish and not at all himself. We had Dr Rettinick (? sorry) and she was wonderful with Coke and with us. She was very thorough and did some tests for Senior dogs. The next day, she called and told us Coke's tests were good, but he was just a little dehydrated. She said we'd keep an eye on that. This place is really good. I know we will take Coke to Springhill Veterinary Clinic for years to come!”
“They were able to get me in super quick for an urgent matter. They were so sweet and kind to my cat. I ended up losing my cat that weekend. They called to check on us and sent us a card. This was my first visit! Amazing!!! Will be changing my vet and making them my #1 vet going forward!”

“I’ve been taking my dogs to Dr Churan for a few years. Her bedside manner is great, she doesn’t try to push unnecessary tests or products on you and she gets the job done effectively and affordably . Her staff is very polite and helpful. Changing vets was the best decision I made.”
“Our 8 year old Yorkie Sammy who has a history of pancreatic attacks was recently diagnosed with diabetes. Within 2 weeks of diagnosis he was 80% blind! We took him to Animal Eye Consultants and Dr. Lindley upon examination admitted him for emergency cataract surgery. Dr. Lindley along with her amazing staff including Gabby, Bruce, Donetta and Dr. Kecova who performed the surgery, made us confident we gave Sammy the best chance to save his eyes. Their professionalism, state of the art equipment, and passion for caring ensured us that we had chosen the right place. Every step, every test, every procedure was explained so clearly we knew exactly what was happening. Sammy received unbelievable care! We are hopeful in the weeks ahead that he will regain his sight! We know that time is of the essence in helping to achieve success. If you're hesitating and your pet needs care, please go here, you will be giving them the best chance. They are wonderful people who bring with them years of experience in working together on our precious pets!!!!!
Thank you Dr. Lindley for choosing this career, you and your staff are amazing.”
“Really great vet! They treated my pups with care and undivided attention. Dr Baitman was really nice, and informative. They fit me in last minute which was appreciated.”
