Dollar General Petersburg offers everyday essentials at affordable prices from right around the corner. It provides low prices on frequently-needed items like food, snacks, and cleaning supplies. The staff is always friendly and it is definitely one of the cleaner stores. However, the greeting card section needs work and aisles are often filled with carts, making it hard to get through. Sometimes the self-checkout isn't operating and workers can be hard to find. While generally better than other dollar stores, some shelves are empty and the manager could be friendlier.
