Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Never a long wait. I go here rather than to a UPS store even though it's further from my home because the service is better (and less expensive).

As far as post offices go this one has provided consistent friendly and fast service all 3 times I've visited indoors over the past several months. This is the same location that services the rural route ensuring the daily delivery of the mail to me which runs rather consistently. Parking is very limited here and there is streetside available too. I hope the postal service never goes away. We need it and some things should remain. In my humble opinion.

I just don't understand why it is so difficult to get our mail delivered. It has been YEARS that we have been dealing with these issues-since 2002. Our former neighbor moved to another part of Turlock and has no problem now. I know of NO ONE with this issue but us and I am ONE person with one car that is parked in the driveway! Our regular mail lady arbitrarily decides not to deliver our mail. She says that the box is "blocked". We live on a busy street in the middle of four schools and we cannot control strangers from parking in front of the house. This was something that made my mother a nervous wreck before she died. She was so concerned that she would miss an important piece of mail and it worried her terribly. She didn't even drive or own a car! I had the foolish notion that things would be better with open lines of communication between me and the mail lady. I was mistaken. My son went so far as to move the mailbox to accommodate her wishes. Even that wasn't good enough as I received a notice from the Post Office today saying that my box was blocked. What the heck?

Our mail lady has been harassing us by threatening to withhold our mail because we supposedly block the mailbox. We do not. We park so far away from the mailbox that we almost block our neighbor's driveway. Additionally, our street is VERY busy. How are we to control when strangers park in front of our house? After several threats to withhold our mail over the last 15 years, we finally got a notice from the post office today saying if we don't stop blocking our mailbox, our mail won't get delivered. Basically this means we can't park in front of our own house at all- even though we don't park in front of the mailbox. Excuse my language, but this is a bunch of b******** I can't wait for our grumpy old mail lady to retire. She harassed my grandmother for years, and now she's harassing us.

I have been going to this post office for nineteen years. Friendly helpful staff who DO all speak English. When there is a high volume period a manager will "triage" the people in line so that a person with one simple transaction (picking up a package or buying stamps) will not clog the line or have to wait in line behind people with multiple transactions, which helps everyone. This is the best post office I have used in fifty years of living all over California. I am appalled that some people would leave one star comments after one bad experience, and blatantly dishonest and bigoted ones like "no one speaks English."

I had a recent issue with USPS. I received a empty box in my mail, not a big one, just big enough for two steak knives. The ends were the type that get shoved deep in and can be difficult to pull out, plus the tape had been cut, but appeared old as if applied long ago. It was obivious to me someone had cut the tape, worked the ends open, removed the contents and closed the box. The tracking number isn't printed, its just the bar code type. I called USPS and all they wanted to know was the tracking number, stating the bar code meant nothing. I didn't have the number because I was not the sender. The sender sent this box out by the thousands (free steak knives) so I'm sure they won't have the individual tracking number and surely didn't insure every box. Bottom line, USPS said "no tracking number there's nothing that can be done, sorry". Just another area of thievery where it should not happen but does and the folks in charge say," there's nothing that can be done, sorry".

I moved two months ago and haven't gotten any mail since--even though I got the confirmation that my Mail Forward went through. I checked with the owners at the old address and they aren't getting my mail either. So I went to the Post Office and they insisted they'd call me to help me find all my lost mail--including my now-overdue registration tags from the DMV--and I haven't heard a peep. I wish there were some other option for mail because this is TERRIBLE.

My rural mail carrier works out of this office. A couple of years ago I decided to invest in a locking mailbox in an attempt to combat the rise in mail theft. Sadly it looks like it was a waste of money on my part. Not because someone broke into the mailbox, rather my mail carrier occasionally (once a week or so) does not push my mail all the way through the slot and leaves it hanging out of the box right alongside the road. You would think mail carriers would be hyper sensitive to mail theft and do everything possible to protect against it, apparently that's not the case.

I sold something on Amazon and chose to send it myself as opposed to Amazon fulfillment. Woops! I have sent plenty of packages before and have never paid 16$ and some odd cents for a 1lb package. Usually I can ship it cheaper than a flat rate. So, I bring my box in, not tapped at the top but otherwise ready to go. I just need to fill out the address. When it is my turn I ask the lady for the cheapest rate vs what 2 day would cost. She immediately quotes the 2 day as being cheaper than the lowest rate (which according to the website, no it's not) because if I had to go with the cheapest she would have to charge me the tape used to close my box. Hah, what? So, if I bought two day the tape to seal my box was included... It was so bizarre. I take the two day. $13 for that, then I wanted the signature confirmation. I knew the price of that and it was no different than usual. In the end I profited $1 from my Amazon sale. I have just never had this issue before, it was so odd. On a minor note, the lady who was helping me would not stop talking about herself. About her closet, about aging, about her cousins-sisters-friend-of-friends cat. On another other note, this is the same post office that keeps losing my own orders. I am out of items for my hamster and incense, no big deal, but this is starting to add up. Plus, That many packages should not go missing overtime (3-5), especially if it is "delivered on days I am at home. Just super irritated with this place.
