Recently bought a queen hybrid. I am a older women riddled with arthritic and stiffness. My first night was like sleeping on a cloud. The staff was so knowledgeable and let try them all offering suggestions. They had the queen Iwanted in stock. They offered to delivery the next day. Donnie and Jason came promptly on time set it up, explained remote. The guys when finished, hauled everything away and vacuumed where old bed was. You simply don't receive this kind of service anymore. I am so glad we still have hometown stored with stock!!Thanks Tracey an Ken for job well done!Lacie an Mike

Was very professional in ordering a part for my moms lift chair that we didn’t even buy there. They responded quickly. They even left the part at the next door business for us to pic up when they would be closed. We were able to take care of what I needed and they researched what was possibly wrong and order the part and paid for all over the phone! Made caregiving easier for me. Thank you.

I bought an auto reclining bed there about 7 or 8 years ago. I've never had any problems with it but I've needed it moved several times due to a change in residence and they have been willing to move it for me for a reasonable price. The movers have been polite, competent and efficient.

I love my new Tempur-Pedic! My wife and I hadn't been sleeping well so we shopped several mattress stores and found The Back Store to have the best price (actually the prices were the same no matter where you go), selection (they carry every mattress that Tempur-Pedic makes) and BEST SERVICE of all. The man who waited on us was very knowledgeable and quite helpful and they had our bed in stock and we were sleeping great the VERY NEXT NIGHT! They have a 45 day comfort guarantee but he helped us to pick the right bed so we didn't need to use it (but it was nice knowing that we wouldn't be stuck!) We also tried their Beautyrest Hybrid mattresses (and those were nice too) but my wife liked how the Tempur-Pedic conformed to her hips and shoulder. We've already recommended both The Back Store and Tempur-Pedic to our friends and would to anyone else desperately searching for the right mattress for the good nights' sleep!

We purchased from the Forsyth, IL store. They were not honest about their return policy even after being directly asked. Their employee lied to make a sale. When owner responded to complaint he stated there was a sign at the counter and then he basically called me an idiot by saying that I didn't understand the policy when it was explained to me. There was no sign at the counter nor was it posted anywhere in the store. I can understand return policies just fine.. They are not an honest company and I would stay far, far away!

They are more worried about expensive cars, sleeping with the women they employ at the pub next door So any dollar spent there is one thrown away to Evil. Worst of area people policies, and store left unattended for hours as a young man and women surface from basement looking purty disheveled hmmm.

I have very bad experience with this store, their customer service is terrible. Experienced same very bad customer service after getting the product just like others have reviewed. All they care is money in their pocket. Be careful...

After 3 weeks of having our bed, one of the wooden beams in the box spring cracked. I explained the issue to the owner and he said he would 'call me right back'. After waiting 2 days without a call, I started phoning the store only to talk to a very rude book keeper who explained there was nothing she could do. After numerous calls to reach the owner I politely expressed my frustration with the lack of communication and poor customer service. The owner promptly said 'well in that case you can keep your broken box spring' and hung up. My fiance went to the store in person due to the fact they stopped taking our calls and the owner denied hanging up and described me as a screaming hysterical woman. I called this business while I was at work using a hushed voice. He proceeded to tell my fiance that an exchange had already been scheduled 2 days ago unbeknownst to us. Unbelievably rude customer service!!

I purchased an item at this store and tried to take it back with the receipt a few days later because it did not work the way I was told it would work. I was told they would not take the item back...only give me an in-store credit. I told them I didn't want anything else in the store but I was told by the manager, in a condescending manner, that I had no other choice because that was their policy. I was told that the return policy was on the bottom of the receipt so I should have been aware of it before I tried to return the item. My question is this: What good is it to notify me of the return policy AFTER I have purchased the item? Shouldn't somebody have told me BEFORE I purchased the item? I never would have bought the item in the first place if I had been told I could not return it. But instead, they wait until AFTER you buy the item, and then tell you on the receipt that you cannot return it......even if the item doesn't work the way they tell you it will work. And the thing that makes me the angriest is that I DID specifically ask the person I bought it from if I could return it if it didn't work. I was told I COULD bring it back. I was never told I could only bring it back for an in-store credit though. She conveniently left that part out. NEVER buy anything from this store. All they care about is getting your money in their pocket. They do not care one bit about customer service, or trying to do a good job so they might get your business again someday.
