This place is an absolute disaster. Do not waste your money. It would be better off to sleep in your vehicle.

This hotel is fantastic my family went to Peoria to visit Bradley University for my son's orientation.
The service was excellent. The hotel is currently undergoing construction. The pictures online don't do it justice.
The location was perfect 5 minutes from the school.
Nice and quiet no issues highly recommend it.

We booked our 4 night stay two months in advance with the request of a accessibility room and the Hot Tub being operational. Due to disability concerns, we chose this hotel specifically for the hot tub and accessibility of the king suites. We were informed two months earlier that the hotel was "finishing" renovations. However, the pool room and especially the hot tub, would be functional. Seeing as this all took place two months earlier than our scheduled stay, I was relieved and had hopes the manager at the time knew what they were talking about.
Now time for our stay, we checked in and the lobby was so in disrepair with mold visible on the lower portions of the walls " where the wall paper was ripped about three feet up, you can see the mold climbing higher" not sealed and not healthy for the guests.
The Hot Tub that we needed for my wife's disability and the only reason we booked months in advance at this hotel "30-minute drive from our vacation destination" turned out to be non functional. No we were never called about this change so we would have the time to change our booking, instead before ever checking in while still driving over seven hours away on the day of, we were billed for the whole stay. No notice, not even during check-in. We did not swim the first evening, but in the second, we went down to find a hole in the ground where the Hot Tub should have been filled with dirt and trash (yes, actual trash).
I informed the individual on duty at the front desk, and they informed me they were new and just brought in days earlier, so there was nothing they could do about this problem except offer their apologies.
I will not stay at this location again. Apparently, they don't listen properly when you first voice your needs months in advance and offer no notices of changes to your bookings or their properties prior to arrival. They bill you in full prior to ever setting foot on the property even though they have your full information and card details as collateral prior to checking in.
The pictures used to "sell" this property seem to be what an architects modeling of what the compete project will look like. Not the current state of the hotel. The window latches have nothing to lock to, so if you have children be very mindful, they can at any time open the third floor windows with just a screen to prevent them from falling. The window safety stops open at least 8 inches, allowing out side access.
The "finished" rooms were not finished to a complete standard for the price. These rooms are more akin to a super 8 at 70$ a night, not the almost 250$ a night I was billed. Pictures will show the "finish."
On a positive note, at least the rooms were "finished" being remodeled prior to our stay.
Rooms: As described in the review, not completely "finished"
Safety: Easy access to outside the windows from the third floor.

Terrible hotel, it’s 10:15 kids are running up and down the hall, slamming doors and screaming. Scheduled to stay here 6 days I’ll be leaving tomorrow. They have flooded the gym with water running back and forth to the pool, mind you these kids are 9-11 and shouldn’t be allowed in the gym! Just a madhouse, as a diamond member I’m disappointed I can’t figure out which room these kids are in to call the front desk. Also toilet was not cleaned when I checked in, pee stains still on the seat as you can see from the picture below. Only reason they get 2 stars is because front desk was very helpful and charming at check in

The management of this hotel is absolutely horrible!! I am sitting at the front desk learning they gave away our reservation!!! The nice and honest lady at the front desk called here manager and admitted the mistake third shift made.
She called her Manager (Vee Vee Reaves) and she basically says 'oh well and sorry' and failed to offer any help!!! They offered no help despite another wonderful lady they offered to give them our room.

Reservations were cancelled without notification which was a good thing. Place very unkempt and I didn't feel safe. Lady behind the register was nice but when I called to make sure my card was refunded I was given a run around.
Noteworthy details: Sketchy at best. Would not recommend especially if you have kids with.

If coming in the near future look elsewhere. Under construction, place smells and construction all over the place.Plus, 100 degrees outside but running heat in the building. Quite frankly, the location isn’t great. Nothing around here and area is sketching at best. No restaurants around it or anything to go to. Avoid.
Nearby activities: None
Safety: In a bad area. No food nearby. Nothing to do. Construction going on.
Walkability: Can’t walk anywhere

All front desk staff we encountered were extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was recently re-done and it looks as though the lobby and public areas have also recently been re-done. Breakfast was good. The location was within walking distance of the The Landing where we were going for a concert. Great value!!

Staff are rude and not very helpful. Didn't tell anyone in our party that the hotel was under renovation and had difficulty getting a room with a air conditioner. Want be staying here again

The remodeled rooms looked really nice. It's a great location to stay if you're going to an event in the arena. My only complaint was that the hot tub was broken, so I couldn't soak my legs after a long day.

My comments are on the route provided by google maps. I was instructed to turn left on John Gwenn Ave. The left turn should have been one block later on Romeo Garrett Ave.

Looks like they are just finishing up refurbishing the rooms. They were nice and clean. Nice location. We stayed because we have someone at the hospital near by.

The Staff was helpful. We arrived a few hours early and our room was not ready yet. When we retuned we were greeted and given our room keys. The room was great and our view was perfect. I would prefer a room like this on every trip, but it was not cheap by any means.
Rooms: Loved the room with the dividing wall and door for bedroom and living space.
Nearby activities: Civic Center and downtown.
Walkability: 5 minute walk to the Civic Center
