The volunteers were a joy to work with in adopting my cat. Major was very stressed and a biter. Since I know how stress can affect behavior, I decided he was the one I wanted. We've had some ups and downs these few weeks we've been together, but mostly ups after the first two and a half. He's learning not to bite and I'm learning the signs he's thinking about it. He purrs a lot, loves his face petted (a lot) and has even started letting me rub his belly. His stress levels are way down as an only cat. Pet Honesty (at PetSmart) has some calming chews he loves. Best part is it doesn't take many to calm him, even during our recent construction.

Got my babies here when they were just tiny kittens we did have some issues with their spay incisions after getting them but after visiting a vet for antibiotics, they healed pretty nicely.

PFS is such a great organization and well run shelter. They just do things the right way and care about the cats in their care. The volunteers are very nice and you can tell that they really love those cats. We adopted a cat last spring and he's been a wonderful addition.

Very kind and friendly. They really care about the animals they take in. I adopted a kitten from there a few days ago. Everyone was very nice!

I adopted my Tortie, Charly last June. We just took our first trip together to Georgia. She was a champ traveling in the car and took to staying in different motels very well. God picked the perfect cat out for me! I highly recommend Pets for Seniors.
