A really neat place that had several exhibits and a convention area with a movie theater as well. We attended to see the Jim Henson exhibit and enjoyed the gift shop as well which had a wide range of local and science related gifts.

I enjoyed my visit to this museum very much. My favorite exhibit was the Jim Henson exhibit but the other exhibits were also interesting and well done. I also enjoyed the free parking. The one thing I thought was missing was good signage for first time visitors about where the various exhibits were located. Thankfully, it is pretty small so it was easy to just explore and discover their locations.

I attended the FFOP (Fogelberg Foundation of Peoria) Celebration weekend Event. The event was held at the Riverfront museum and it was AWESOME! The place is amazing! When you enter, there is a timepiece that is absolutely amazing...many exhibits, a planetarium, giant screen theater and the list goes on! They provided an outdoor space for our concerts. The Director, a very personable gentleman, walked around and visited with both kids and adults. I was very impressed by him! Don't miss this incredible place, a MUST for all!! Thanks for hosting our event! Great job!

They need more exhibits but it's a nice little museum and Planetarium and it's right on the Illinois river front.

What a great place for a day visit. The staff was incredible and made everyone feel welcome. The kids' movie on the weekend was fun for the whole family, and then it was followed by a visit from Belle. The whole crowd loved it. Now that we're at the end of the holiday season, the shop has been a lot of fun with the kids. The highlight of the museum would be the Body Works exhibit. Very educational.

There is always some new exciting exhibit to check out. They have a wonderful planetarium show. There are galleries full of different, interesting pieces to learn about. They have different groups that put on interactive activities in the main area from time to time. The underground parking is convenient for cars. They also have streeside parking.

There is nothing to do for kids here anymore besides the planetarium. After Covid hit, the museum stripped itself of all its child friendly attractions. There wasn’t a ton to do before for kids, but now there is absolutely nothing. Unfortunately, all of the attractions are based off of what the donors want rather than what most people would actually want to see. Occasionally they get good traveling exhibits, but the permanent attractions are a bust! Ever since the Peoria playhouse became ASTC endorsed for reciprocal memberships, I canceled my riverfront museum membership since there is nothing there for my family anymore.

I took my family to the festival last night & it was amazing! Kudos to Peoria for going all out on this ( they even had cozy blankets set out on all the benches)

I went to the Body World exhibit, and it was lovely! I really enjoyed it. Once we left, however, I got a bit confused on what else we would be able to see. The signage was kind of confusing, and I would've liked to see more, but it was a bit tricky to navigate. But it was a very nice, clean, large museum with lots of cool features, like the theater and Santa was there at the time. The view over the river was also absolutely stunning.
