I want to say that back in 2016 when I was homeless for 3 months May-August, this shelter helped me and Brian Butler is the man! He is a good guy and speaker. This shelter is one of the best things going for Peoria. It's walking distance to the Sophia's Kitchen, nestled in downtown in a perfect spot that is walking distance to many places and they are really resourceful. May the Lord continue to bless them!

I can always count on the Peoria Rescue Mission to help,It was very hot on this visit, since I was close by coming from the post office I thought I'll ask if someone would print a couple copies of legal paper work for me and Mr. Tim Simpson made time to help me get that done, thanks for your help Mr.Simpson.

The Peoria Rescue Mission is one big family,With staff like Director Brian Butler who never makes the men that have to live there because there family turned there back on them, nevertheless Mr Butler never gave me the impression that he was better then us,a matter of fact he spends some of his paycheck on us,but like ever work place you have some people that when you see them get to work the good energy shifts because we feel that they don't really want to be there like case workers Derek and Brian especially Derek he was a butthead but other than that all the employees are like happy with exception and Derek and Brian and I just want to say hi to Martha hi Martha Martha works in the office she's a little fox LOL
