My wife and I stayed here recently, and from our perspective, the hotel was not at all worth the cost. For starters, the area around it in downtown Peoria is run down and devoid of coffee bars, restaurants, or other amenities. When we arrived, the elevator from the parking deck to the hotel lobby was broken, so we had to haul our luggage down two long flights of stairs. In our room, furniture such as the cabinet under the TV was also broken, falling off its hinges. The night of our arrival, the toilet in the room barely flushed, and by morning it wasn't flushing at all, which meant we have to use the bathroom in the hotel lobby. And by the way, the actual lobby does not look nearly as nice as in the pictures advertised. So all around this was a disappointment not to be repeated.

Our king suite is very comfortable, spacious, quiet, clean, and in good repair. We loved the location, a 3 block easy walk to the river and a short drive to BU, and shopping.

Very nice historic hotel. Area seems pretty rundown. I walked to the river front park. Not many restaurants Open in the area. Parking situation is a little odd. Have to park in a garage next door taking an elevator up. Seemed sketchy after dark. Then go down a flight of stairs because the next elevator was not working. Pool did not look clean and hot tub was, surrounded by yellow tape. Staff were very helpful polite though.

Anyone else been robbed yet? Hard to believe what happened to us was chance.
Anyone else want to mention how unsafe the area is on a Friday and Saturday night right out front with an absent desk person and one security guard and 3 points of entry?

We arrived to the hotel late and rushed to the jacuzzi before closing but it was surrounded by caution tape and incredibly green. ?
Getting back to the room, it's very hot. Thermostat is set to 65 and room is 78. I fiddle with it and it kicks on, room drops 1 deg and we fall asleep. I wake up early in a sweat and room is still 77 degrees.
I decide to get some work done and get out the laptop, the internet was working last night but now it's not.
The area is pretty run down and I did not feel comfortable walking around and felt my belongings (in the PAID parking) were unsafe.
I mentioned most of this on check out and the check out assistant could not have cared less.
I would avoid this one.
Rooms: Nice rooms but check your utilities
Nearby activities: A seedy dive bar with boarded up windows directly across the street
Safety: Packing garage feels unsafe

Its very old hotel, but bit over priced for that hearitage thing.
Rooms: Crampped entrances, bathroom doors sliding type, unacceptable to me.
Noteworthy details: Parking is hard to find, if you don't know the place. And its chargable $15/day

This is a pretty nice hotel in Peoria. The rooms were clean and the staff were all very polite. We attended a wedding with the reception here and had a great time. Parking is also very easy with the attached garage.

Upon check in our king room wasn't ready, however they gave us an upgraded suite that was very nice. The front desk staff was very helpful and kind and answered all questions. My only issue was that the surrounding area had many rundown places and it would be great if they'd revitalize an reopen the spaces. We were in walking distance to the waterfront area which was nice but the marina was closed on a Saturday. All in all, I will come back!

Amazing people AAron and William take good care of me and my business team whenever they need to stay. They go out of the way to make our stay amazing every time we book. As a business owner we made a fantastic decision choosing them to take care of our team during their stay. Keep up the good work.

Average rooms at premium prices. Location is good and there is free parking though.

Everything was a little better than ok. The beds are not very comfortable, housekeeping wasn’t great, the bathroom was missing some of the standard toiletries and the in room coffee was only decaf. A simple request and it was fixed. No major complaints.
