Menards in Peoria, Illinois was excellent regarding the variety of products they provide in the plumbing. However, they are short on staffing in the paint department, as we had to wait 15 minutes before staff arrived to assist us. However, they did do an excellent job matching our paint chips. The lumber department was also understaffed, and after looking for exterior door trim for 20 minutes, we finally just gave up on finding the trim we needed and went home without the needed exterior door trim.

So the reason I order online is so I don't have to go into the store. But on this day I was refused entry to the yard area because I don't have a handicap sticker. I had drive all the way around and park then walk all the way to the back of the store from which I had just come from. Who's ever idea this was it sucks!

Best Menards I have been to so far! I don't normally write reviews for larger box stores, but I just have to say, the employees here have all been super friendly and helpful the multiple times I have been here and done a purchase, return, or needed help getting or finding items.

I enter into this establishment often as I do a lot of property maintenance, as well as small projects. It's the only store around that carries 5-minute quick set for drywall finishing purposes, I can't anywhere else. There's a cashier that works there older man name Dennis Nelson very helpful man. I make sure to take a moment every time I come in to have a word with him, very helpful , good attitude, and helps me with anything that I may have a question with. My overall experience with the store is great I drive out of my way just to go there. For some reason they have everything that most everybody else in town doesn't have .You will find the staff is very helpful.
