I made an appointment for a flu vaccine at this location. I made the appointment online at 10:30am for a 12:30pm appointment time. Arrived at the pharmacy at about 12:20pm and waited in line until about 12:30pm. When asked what I was there for I said "12:30 flu vaccine appointment". The person helping me turned to the pharmacy manager and said he is here for a flu vaccine. The pharmacy manager then responded "we are too busy". A bit frustrated, I asked "how are you too busy, I made an appointment?". Pharmacy manager responded with "we were not aware of your appointment, we don't get notified"... A bit frustrated, I asked and spoke with the general manager of the store so I could file a complaint.During my conversation with the general manager the pharmacy manager tries to explain the system isn't the best, doesn't notify, asks if I want to wait 45 minutes until their lunch (which starts at 1PM) is over, asks if I want to come in at a different time, etc... if I cannot make an APPOINTMENT and get my flu vaccine during the scheduled time... how can I trust that some random time is going to be any better? The most frustrating part of this entire thing is, the pharmacy manager KNOWS THE SYSTEM OF NOTIFYING ABOUT VACCINE APPOINTMENTS IS BROKEN and has done nothing as a manager to fix it or make a work around (I don't know... maybe periodically check to see if someone has signed up every hour or so, if you have to, so that people don't drive out for appointments they scheduled only to get turned away) for it.Would not recommend. Go somewhere else.

The deli ladies are great! especially Kelli, Mary! Pharmacy is very helpfu! Sharon and Sade wow! the cashiers are very nice and helpful. the only issue I have is a lady in cus service named Keri. she does not know how to say please thank you. Always makes it seem like you're interrupting what she's doing when you asked for help. I seldom ever see her be polite to anyone, especially the elderly, and they disabled.

I just don't get it. My scripts are usually filled in Utah at Smith's which is Kroger out west. When I take a script to Smith's it usually filled within 45 minutes. For some reason in Illinois the exact same company takes a minimum of 2 calendar days. How is this even possible? It's 30 pills. How long can it take? It makes zero sense to me. What also doesn't make any sense is the Smith's are beautiful and all the Kroger's in Peoria are absolute dumps.

There was a sign on the walk up pharmacy window to walk into the store. :-/
As 1 customer was being helped and 2 others waiting for over 5 minutes, the pharmacist, Tim stood and talked about virtual football leagues with a friend. However once I got to the young lady, Sonya, that helped the customers, she was very patient, sweet and helpful. That's the only reason for 2 stars.

WORST. PHARMACY. EVER! First and foremost, I have to say, the pharmacy employees that I had contact with at this location, give the Kroger brand a bad name--their rudeness was unprecedented. The pharmacy techs were poor communicators regarding the status of my child's prescription and Kroger pharmacy policies. Without communicating regarding the status of my child's prescription, the pharmacy released his medication for allocation to another patient. His crucial medication is now back ordered and unavailable. I understand that there are circumstances in which demand for a medication, leads to its release- I am however, unhappy that I was not even given a phone call regarding the situation, the delay or the status of his prescription. After weeks passed and I continued to solicit information about my son's prescription, I was told by the pharmacy tech today that they deal with too many people and just don't have time to call patients and update them. Well, as far as I am concerned, that's pretty lousy customer service. By not keeping their patients updated, this pharmacy does not give their patients the ability to advocate and secure critical, and necessary, medication in a timely manner. Further, if they are too busy to give care and communication to their customers, I am not willing to be their customer-- I will be taking my business elsewhere.
