Great place. The computer specialists to the Forklift safety training is a great place to learn. I would ask them if they do a hands-on forklift training as well. To make sure, for those who don't have any sit down forklift training experience. Then hopefully they will show you how to lock and chock trailers properly, inspect your forklift check list, explain the proper ppe, checking the blind spots, speeding, honking, stacking and unstacking a pallet, etc. I hope this GOODWILL will go the extra mile to get you ready for your job and add more to your resume. Great place.

Besides having some really high prices for donated merchandise the employees can be brash and even obnoxious. Not always a bad experience but when I do have an issue with Good Will it usually stems from this location. Managed very poorly as well.

I applied fir a job in the Macomb, Illinois location through Indeed. I got a Representative emailing me a few days later. She does my phone Interview and I was very happy with tge way it went. I then get a call from the same woman saying thst the Mgr was wanting to know if I was a student since I posted thst I had a job at The University. Then on a Sunday I get an Email from Goodwill saying thst they chose a more experienced applicant! Really with the retail jobs that I had in the past and working with and having mentally challenged friends??? It's Not Rocket Science! It was a job for sorting donations! The store in Macomb has mainly young employees and that should change! Middle age people have bills to pay also!!

Agree with another review. Don't EVER buy anything online from this store on ShopGoodwill. I paid the day I won an item ... a week ago ... but they still haven't shipped the item and keep thanking me for my patience. Well ... patience has run out. Most of the stores on the Shopgoodwill site are wonderful and ship things promptly. Not this store. Never again. I will continue to support Goodwill ... just not this store.

I have volunteered for years with Goodwill. I had a phone screening for a position I had interest in and I felt it went well. I never heard anything back. I sent an email to the individual that interviewed me and I never received a response. I wouldn't want to work for a company that can't reach out to the individuals who didn't get the job.

I am very disappointed in Susan, the lady I was told is in charge of all of the Goodwill retail stores for Central Illinois and hopefully this is just one staff member and not a reflection of management philosophy.
