Poor customer service that started with a misunderstanding that would have been solved had they bothered to ask me anything. Instead, they assumed incorrectly, treated me like a con artist, and wasted my time. I called the branch manager to complain, and he was doubtful about my experience. P.S. I went to the Sheridan Village Cefcu the next day. I did not experience the same problem. In fact, they got rid of a lot of notes on my account that the other branch put on. Then we had a nice chat about the books we are currently reading, and they made feel less crazy about not tolerating microaggressions. I hope the downtown branch chooses to treat everyone with dignity and respect going forward though that was not my experience.

I have been a customer of CEFCU for 20 years. I was trying to buy an extended warranty and was told to go into the branch I went into the branch to pay for it and nobody had a single clue what I was talking about they basically just abandoned me and left me sitting there for like 15 minutes I finally left I called back to the person that had helped me over the phone and she made it very clear she couldn't help and didn't care so screw this place. funny because these credit unions are owned by us members yet they treat us like garbage

Do NOT get a loan through this credit union. It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with them. Sham bank.

DO NOT BANK WITH THIS CREDIT UNION IF YOU CAN AT ALL HELP IT! Their customer service will not work with you, give you nothing but attitude, and literally told me there is nothing they can do to help because they take their jobs seriously. I've never worked with any company that would say there is nothing to do and will happily take your money. The really sad part is that they don't even take the feedback provided to them to try and be better, they just are always right and the heck with their customers. And judging from other's reviews, I'm not the only one that has a negative experience with this group.

After I set up a new line of credit on a boat, the employee assured me that auto payment was setup. Low and behold I missed the first payment because it was not setup. I get a late charge and dinged credit. Based on other reviews, there are some grossly incompetent employees that don't know how to set this up, or enjoy not doing it for some malicious reason. On this same line of credit they charged me $1700 for insurance despite the fact that I have insurance on it and they couldn't get this straightened out. After I paid off another line of credit, they sent the wrong title from another line of credit I have with them. Which is preventing me from selling. Also bill pay is hilariously slow. They will also flag large payments to the credit cards which they also administer. Hilariously incompetent operation all around. Avoid at all costs.

Online Banking, Mobile Banking, Money Center 24 ATM Network, Investment Services, and more. All services are great, all staff is polite, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I've belonged to CEFCU for over 30 years.

There's a car loan with this place and the we're supposed to have it set to auto pay. Guess what- they played around with the account and now there's a pending payment for the car payment from a month ago and now a late fee involved with a possible credit ding. ON TOP OF THAT; when you call the department to ask for understanding and bluntly state you should not be held responsible for their neglect, they tell you that they don't know anything and then hang up on you. If one could transfer a vehicle loan, this one would be moved in a heartbeat. Take the risk with the rates and go elsewhere. Cefcu cannot be trusted with money. This place is more like a local scam than a place of local business.

I would not advise getting a loan or anything here for that matter. My family and I moved, and went through two major health emergencies. When we finally got back on our feet to try to catch up on our loan, we were told they were already out for collections on our vehicle. We have tried to call numerous times to speak with our loan officer but she will not call back. My husband has left 3 notes on our account. We have two little ones and need our family vehicle and this bank refuses to help. I would not recommend anyone to do business here.

I've always had really good experiences with CEFCU. They are correct when they credit unions are different.
