We take our birds here. Such a kind and caring staff! And Dr Burmeister is a gift and a treasure to the animals. Very knowledgeable and our birds love him. You can tell he does the work out of love and compassion for the animals. The best kind of vet!

We took in a kitten that was a two weeks old we think. we really aren't sure. He was failing to thrive. Lethargic, wouldn't eat, hardly moved and just wasn't growing at the same rate as his siblings. They got us in when other vets said there was nothing they could do. They gave our little guy i.v fluids and antibiotics with tips and tricks that would help and he slowly got better.
2 weeks later he is growing so big and playing and eating like a champ.

I moved here from a different state and one of the saddest things about moving was losing my vet for my 10 yo senior toy poodle. This vet felt like home the first time he was seen. He had to be referred for a very expensive hip surgery. He had already had a knee surgery in TN and I was very nervous about this one. Every person in this office treats him like their baby. He had to stay overnight and I didn’t sleep at all. I was calling the next morning at 7:31am to check on him and no one treated me like I was ridiculous or anything. I’m a single mom and they’ve worked around my schedule through all of this and now he goes there for grooming too! He has recovered almost 100% which I wasn’t sure would happen (with how stubborn he is)! I will be bringing my 4 cats too, as it is time for their yearly appts soon. Is this the cheapest vet? Probably not. But I was paying more for this quality of care in my last city too and the peace of mind this vet has offered me has been invaluable.

Everyone is kind here and the atmosphere is nice, but this is not a vet I would recommend for those on a budget.
Honestly, I felt like I was taken for a ride and overwhelmed with information on what I "needed" to do and the cost being downplayed. Before I knew it I had a several hundred dollar bill staring me in the face. I paid more than twice the amount it cost for my mother to get her dog treated for worms, kennel cough, and his rabies shot.
When I came back for a follow up (which was another several hundred) and I asked for other treatment options that were more affordable, the doctor was visibly upset.
All in all, if you have the money, do what you will. Just be careful on what they try to charge you for. But if you're on budget and looking for care for a family pet. I'd encourage you to look elsewhere.

I want to share my experience with this vet because it has been so unbelievably kind and I'm so grateful. Our rabbit had to be put to sleep, it was an extremely hard and very emotional grieving process in the vet. The staff was so kind and understanding to every decision we made. They let us be with him as he passed and wrapped him in a blanket while we were with him. Eugene meant the world to us and it was a very traumatic event for both my husband and I. The staff walked us through the cremation process as well as the other options and we ended up getting him privately cremated with one of their options. The process was very smooth and when we came to pick up his ashes they had surprised us with a little baggie of a beautiful small carved wood floral box and his very own paw print we could bake at home. It was so special because our bun never actually let us touch his feet while he was alive. He passed away a week before my husband and I's birthday and today in the mail they sent me a hand written and signed memorial card for our bun. To say I'm beyond grateful and thankful for the staff and doctors there is an understatement. This was such a difficult and hard time and decision for our family and having such a kind and supportive staff made the process so much easier. Thank you to all of you for thinking of us and going above and beyond for their pet families. I will definitely come back because I know that even during the worst times they took care of my bun and my family in more ways than I could have ever imagined. I'm just so grateful and I can't say enough good things about this place. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart ?

I go there for all my animals and Dr Dave is cool. My dog is particular about people but loves everyone there.

Even though they said they were experienced with hedgehogs when making the appointment and were listed as an exotic veterinarian they were not knowledgeable of hedgehogs, their diet and did not do a thorough examination. I fully expected them to do an exam of her quills, mouth, ears, feet, belly and privates, etc. The vet barely handled her and pulled out a very outdated book that referenced feeding hedgehogs dog food which is not recommended at all anymore. They trimmed her nails at my request, weighed her, printed off a copy of the outdated book page and that was it. Very very disappointed and I recommend finding a different vets office for exotic pets.

Everyone I’ve dealt with has been extremely kind and understanding! I’m a single mother and they have worked with me on a care plan for my senior dog that is affordable and effective. They call to check up on how the animal is doing after the visit, and the place is nice and clean as well! Amazing facility!

There is not a bad thing I can say about all pets. I’ve been coming here the last few years. They knew my cats Socks and Nemo, my bird paco, and both my dogs. This place is great can’t say enough about the staff. Dr Fort , Dr. Dave and wild are all truly amazing. I plan on coming her for a long time. From a loyal customer they are the best for exotics and house hold pets
