I like it but only a few employees to help you, but they were acknowledgable. But need a lot of work to be as good as Bass Pro Shop.

If you are purchasing items from academy as gifts, do not use anything other than cash. Personally I will not purchase items to give as gifts. My son received items for Christmas purchased at Academy in Peoria. They did not fit. I had to return the items. Only option was to have the amount put back on the card used to purchase. I asked for gift card or cash.

It was okay, but nothing to rave about in my opinion. Typical comes to mind. I was just in the area and decided to visit. I wouldn't drive across town to just shop here, but may drop in if I'm in the area for other things.
