Great variety of classy clothes, helpful staff ----- ----- July, 2022 Visit Our daughter discovered the band Greta Van Fleet early summer, 2022, and quickly found that they would be playing in Peoria, IL, and she recommended a road trip. We had a great time, thanks in part to A Perfect Pear, in Peoria Heights. We visited a nearby jeweler and then decided to walk around the neighborhood's many stores and restaurants. It's apparent that many/most of the Peoria Heights stores and restaurants are closed on Mondays, surely because they are open on Sundays. Normally A Perfect Pear is also closed, but they are available to be open by appointment, and a prior guest with an appointment departed just as we walked past. We knocked and the lady (apologies for being forgetful with your name... sorry) working let us in to look around. Our daughter explored jeans and shorts, but focused on shirts and picked a very nice one. Thank you, A Perfect Pear. ----- ----- -----

Had a co-worker purchase a dress, there was a issue with work hours picking it up, offered to deliver it to her at work at no charge. Excellent customer service will recommend.

I've visited this store a few times with my younger child. Each and every time I walk in the lady at the counter acts like we are an inconvenience to her. She has no clue how much money I can spend but is quick to turn away when we walk into her shop. She's missing out on sales because of her rude attitude. Maybe she opened this store for her snobby friends so they can spend their husband's money and that's why she's so rude. The owner needs a lesson in politeness and just because someone doesn't look like the pretentious Peoria Heights gold-digger doesn't mean we don't have money to spend. Luckily for another business I dropped a few thousand where I was treated kindly. I don't shop where I am judged by those who shouldn't be judging anyone.

A Perfect Pear Boutique is an amazing experience with helpful and knowledgeable staff and the absolute best selection of on-trend and timeless options! Since moving away from Peoria, the staff has been nothing short of amazing in helping me find whatever I need from a distance through their social media outlets. They ship very quickly and always reach out to follow up and make sure all of the items worked. Whenever I am home I always look forward to stopping in. Can't recommend them enough and will be a customer for life!

My visits to Perfect Pear Boutique have been lackluster at best - mostly because of how I was treated by a member of the staff on a few of my most recent visits. Most recently, I came in with my mom to return a gift in exchange of something that better suited my style. The older lady on staff followed us around the store relentlessly - telling (not asking) me that she would hold the item I wanted to purchase while I browsed the rest of the store. I tried to assume the best intentions of the staff member - but the rest of our visit she followed us closely as if we were shoplifters. She insinuated that they might not carry clothing in our sizes (even though I wear an 8 and my mom wears a 6), talked at us (not with us) and for all the time that she spent following us around, didn't ask either of us what we were looking for or offered to help us.

Terrible. Each time I have visited this boutique I felt that the workers were extremely rude and unwelcoming. The few times that I visited this boutique I was with friends and family. Not that it should matter, but we were all presentable and were very interested in the clothing they had. The workers looked us up and down, did not acknowledge our presence, however followed us around the store the entire time. I've been to all of the surrounding boutiques in this area and highly recommend visiting them instead of Perfect Pear. I am a big supporter of small businesses, however the pretentiousness possessed by the workers makes it non deserving of respectable people's business.

A Perfect Pear Boutique has been an integral part of my life for the last 11 years. Not only are the clothes phenomenal, but Libby, the owner, goes the extra mile to really help you find fashion that fits your life style. I can not even imagine not having this store as a cornerstone in our community, and all of the wonderful ladies she has working with her to make all of my fashion dreams come true. Exceptional Five Star Boutique!

Well today was Shop Small Saturday so my mom and I decided to do some shopping in the Heights. Went into A Perfect Pear Boutique and it had been years since we've been there but we are sale shoppers. So one of the girls working mentioned sale items and shoes are downstairs so that's where we headed. But right behind us was an older woman who was an employee. My mom and I were just looking through some of the racks and the employee was I assume just trying to look busy while we were looking. My mom and I both felt like we were being watched for whatever reason and I said I was ready to leave. So we head back upstairs and who is right behind my mom.. the employee. I have never felt so disrespected at a store. I will not return & I will be sure to let my friends & family know about the awful experience I had.
