“We had the BEST experience with Advantage Auto Sales in Pekin. I am always leery of the "buy here, pay here" type of lots with in-house financing. However, these people were AMAZING to work with. I initially filled out a form to be contacted because I was concerned after not seeing mileage for their vehicles posted on the website. Do NOT let this deter you. All of their cars are well within a good amount of miles for the length of the terms and in good shape! They have no desire to sell you a lemon. I was initially contacted by Jason who explained everything I would need to provide to them, and I was able to submit most of the documents needed online prior to coming in. When we came in we had no wait and got to meet with Mary to go over what was next. My finance app was ran during my first test drive, and completed by the time I had arrived back at the lot. We did have one small issue with a car we test drove. These guys made sure we went to have a quick inspection before purchasing anything, and we're grateful they did! When we came back and presented the issue, they were quick to pull that vehicle and offer other choices!!! They even apologized stating they believed the issue HAD been fixed, but the code may have been forgotten about when it came to clearing. Either way, when buying ANY used vehicle, its up to you the purchaser to trust your instincts. After test driving a few, we ended up with an absolutely AMAZING 2011 Hyundai Sonata. She drives like a dream, and is such an upgrade and blessing for us. When we came in to the lot we worked with Mary for the finance application, test drives, and all that good stuff. She was very upfront, professional, to the point and had no problem letting me test whatever I wanted, nor did she complain about having to run across the lot over and over to swap plates out. We had to leave the car over the weekend to get our insurance straightened, and when we came back half an hour before closing Monday evening, Jason and George already had the plates on and she was ready to go! I could not have asked for a better buying experience after being misled by other dealerships (occasionally driving well over an hour away to look at vehicles). Jason even expressed during our initial phone call that if I was interested in a vehicle at a different location, they could have it transported to Pekin so I wouldn't have to drive a falling apart car all the way back out to Bloomington. The entire experience was quick, professional, up front, and to the point. At the end of the day, do your homework, remember they're used vehicles, ask questions, and remember these individuals are here to help you find the best fit for you and your family.
