Don't buy anything from their kitchen area. I bought a mixer and I took it home to use it and it didn't work out of the box. I took it back same day as I bought it to exchange it and they wouldn't let me get another one. Dinner ruined because they can't exchange a product or give me my money back for the junk they sold me. Instead they want me to call the manufacture! I need a mixer now not in a few weeks! $25 dollars down the drain! You lost a faithful customer tonight Kroger!

1 star is what krogers gets and thats just because i couldnt choose to give you none. Your morals during this pandemic are borderline criminal. Youre supposed to be 25% capacity but refuse to listen in order to save lives. But you dont care about anyone as long as theyre spending money. Which brings me to the next point.. price gouging!! Utterly disgusting taking advantage of people during this pandemic. I reqlly hope people get wise anout this behavior . Unproffesional and morally bankrupt.

At Krogers today. At least 6-8 people with no masks. I watched a manager walk by an entire family with no masks. He never stopped and said anything to them. Why don’t they just have separate hours for the selfish people who refuse to wear a mask? That way the rest of their customers can be protected from them.

Terrible customer service. Disappointed in how fast Kroger is going downhill. They will lose many customers if they do not improve how their customers are treated and spoken to.

Was at Kroger in Pekin today amid an unusually hectic crowd of shoppers (naturally). The shelves were nearly fully stocked, employees were scurrying around maintaining some semblance of order and everybody was wearing masks. Next time you’re in Kroger tell the employees how much you appreciate their hard work. And thanks to manager Tracy Blandchard.

I was at Kroger last Friday night around 5 pm which is rush hour for them. there was only 1 cashier ringing up groceries and that is simply unacceptable. All those machines that the customer has to ring up their own groceries are a joke. what about people like my mom who is elderly and doesn't understand how to use the machines? Kroger has eliminated jobs with those machines. Thank God there is Aldis to turn to as they have employees ringing up the groceries. Shame on Kroger for installing all those job stealing machines.

On weekends you can never find a shopping cart. Sometimes even during the week you can't, not even in the outside corrals. C'mon! Buy a few more carts, manager! This has happened several times in the last few months, and if it keeps up, I'll do my shopping elsewhere.

Overall I like this store and often stop by when going to/from Peoria. Glad to have the seafood department as well. However, someone needs to explain to the seafood manager and ALL seafood department employees what is expected when selling live oysters in the shell. First of all, live oysters are only edible when alive. I dont know how many times Ive had to throw away the oysters they sold me the very same day because they are not only dead but spoiled. The last time the guy picked them up 3 or 4 at a time and put them on the plastic tray. NO! The only way you can judge if they are still alive is to check to make sure they are closed tightly; to feel their INDIVIDUAL WEIGHT (a lite feel or hollow sound when tapping the shell means dead); and even to smell. One at a time. Also, they should be discarded NOT PLACED ON SALE when they are about 10 days from the harvest date on the box they came in. You CANNOT PUT DEAD OYSTERS ON SALE...you must toss them out. I would buy 2 dozen oysters every visit IF THEY ARE FRESH AND ALIVE. I dont like throwing away 2 dozen dead oysters along with the $12 I spent for them. Feel each one for weight (to make sure they still contain the ocean water inside), tap it against another oyster and see if its hollow, and smell if in question. Pretty simple. DO IT PLEASE or stop ripping off your customers and possibly making them very sick (eating an old oyster can be life threatening). BY THE WAY THE KROGER ON NORTH KNOXVILLE KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING SO MAYBE GET A LESSON FROM THEM!
