Staff has been very friendly, prices are fair, but I took my car to them 3 times within a 6 week period for air conditioning issues and every time they would tell me it was fixed, and every time it would blow hot within 2 days of getting the car back. There was a persistent coolant leak they were not finding.
I have since had it to another shop I've used in the past, and they told me a completely different part of the AC system needs replacing.
I trust them for minor things like oil changes, but I've lost confidence in their diagnosing skills for more complex issues.

They are very knowledgeable!! I went in for a pre-purchase inspection and they wound up not even finishing it because the whole bottom of the car was rusted out! They didn't charge me a dime. They even let me put the car back on the blocks to take pictures. They are very accommodating! Would highly recommend!!

I brought a 2012 Escape in for what we thought was a transmission problem. Hiller did an evaluation and determined that the brakes were frozen. Since it was a used car with no maintenance history, I asked them to do a thorough inspection and fix it. I was happy that they were able to get the parts ordered and the work done within their timeframe. Greg was great about communicating with me. If I could give them 10 stars, I would! Thank you, Hiller Automotive for a job well done!

I have taken my vehicle there several times...I could not be more impressed how friendly, professional, and honest Hiller Automotive is. They have called me back on less expensive solutions on one of my repair requests. I will not take my vehicles anywhere else.

So fast, and kind! I had my car towed in during the evening hours, they called me first thing in the morning to tell me what the issue was, and it was fixed before 10am. Highly recommend.

My Jeep had sensor issues. Hiller diagnosed the root of the problem and called right away to let me know. They had to order a part and the vehicle ready right on time!! Excellent service!!

After recently moving to Pekin from St. Louis, I was looking for a trustworthy auto shop in/near Pekin.
I took my car my car to Hiller because I suspected my 60K-mile tires were near their tread-life end. After dropping-off the car prior to their opening, I received a call from Gary in the Hiller shop. He confirmed that I needed new tires. I thought they were a bit pricey, but not unreasonable. Gary took time to explain the other routine items I asked about, and I never felt like he was trying to upset me... he took time to explain in a courteous manner. When I arrived at 4pm, the work on my car was not yet completed, so I had a longer than expected wait, but that's the only reason I didn't give 5-stars. Otherwise, it was a good experience, and I'll be returning to Hiller for my future automotive needs. ? J.J
