It's fairly easy to get to. The rooms are clean. However, a lot of small items were broken or in need of repair.

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. This place covers the basics and is as expected for the price range. We stayed in one of the “suites” which was a decent sized room, although really dated. The sheets were clean but stained in many spots. The walls are paper thin and there were some sketchy people hanging out on our floor during one of the two nights we were here. Other reviews mention bugs but we didn’t see any in our room at all. Overall, it’s a decent place for 1-2 night stay if you’re looking for the basics without paying a lot of money.

so I have been without hot water since February of this year due to problems after my grandma passed. I figured I'd stay here for a couple nights after dealing with some family matters in the area. I made my reservation a few days in advance and got email confirmation. I went at the check-in time and was turned away. I was told they never had anything in the system for us nor would they accommodate us with a room. I stayed here before my father passed and they were excellent but now their customer service is really below standards. I admit that my brother and I may look a little disheveled but we had plans to remedy that situation. I will warn you now that just because you have reservations does not mean they will honor them. they reserve the right to turn anyone away for any reason. I am now heading back home and will make note to tell the people on the road to avoid this establishment.

This hotel is very outdated but makes up in value. I got a good room with TV, fridge, microwave and everything working and a decent bed for under $90 a night. I don't need fancy if all I'm doing is getting a room to shower and sleep. The gentleman at the check-in was so helpful and very informative.Walkability: There is every fast food within walking distance. Buffalo Wild Wings, McDonald's, steak and shake, KFC and a food truck that was across the street. By far, the best hotel I have stayed in with food at walking distance.

This place STINKS. Smells unbearably bad. The hotel itself smells weird, then you enter your smoke free "suite" and you're hit with an intense ashtray smell, then you go in the bathroom and it smells like someone literally just finished smoking in there. I didn't expect it to be a luxury suite, but I've stayed at econo lodges all across the country and this one is BAD. I RAN out of there in the morning.

Overall it’s what you expect from an Econolodge. We stayed here because our AC went out in the 115-120 degree heat indexes. Don’t expect luxury and you’ll be satisfied. For 65 something bucks a night for a fairly large suite room it doesn’t get much better for the area. The hotel itself looks very old and outdated inside, makes you feel dirty. But as far as how clean it actually was from the carpet to the towels to the bed everything is what you should expect from your average economy hotel room, no random hairs or bugs or stains besides a few stains on the carpet and couch. Breakfast was very bland but it is there if you’re in a pinch. Service was above average and actually enjoyable, the desk people were very nice and loved seeing my puppy. The desk person held the door open for me when I got there and had to use their cart to bring the dog cage in. Beds were fairly comfy and so were the pillows. Overall it’s a great value for the price and what you get.

First the good things: conveniently located by Hampton Inn, Target etc. This Econolodge has a pool which is a nice bonus (as most Econolodge hotels do not). Good breakfast. Overall clean. Bathroom with newer porcelain tile. The no so good: overall the hotel is old, dated. Old carpet: much of which is stained both in the room and in the hallways. There is also a noticeable odor of cooking. No desk in the room, no sofa… just a small bistro table and two dining chairs. Mattress.. not great: very soft, too soft. Also, as a Diamond Member for choice hotels (Econolodge) I normally appreciate the attendant thanking me for being a Diamond member and acknowledging my room upgrade request (whether I get upgraded or not). However I was never acknowledged for my loyalty and the checkin was very transactional, not overall friendly. Noticeable smell of weed in parking lot as other congregating guests (apparently workers) smoked in the lot. Late July 2023: this is one of the few hotels I have seen with plastic COVID barriers still hung from the ceiling.

The room I was in had the overflowing ashtray smell to it. Gross. There seemed to be a large group of people in multiple rooms all going back and forth with the doors blocked open and talking loud well into the night. I would say if it's all you can get, it will do in a pinch but I recommend trying another hotel for sure.Rooms: Dingy, smelly, stuffy, just not very well maintained.

Absolutely love this place. Rooms are clean, owners are awesome, and it is conveniently located. Definitely don't listen to the negative reviews. If you want a comfortable and affordable place to temporarily lay your head on your travels, this is it.

The rooms were as expected. The staff though was incredible. We called extremely early in the morning and when we got there everything was already set up. Leland was a top flight employee and helped us out tremendously when we were waiting for our vehicle to get repaired. I watched him handle a bad situation gracefully while I was waiting to leave. If I ever end up in Pekin again I will stay here solely for the customer service. Thanks!
