2 different salesman and 1 finance guy told me they would get back to me, call me on a specific date and yet that never happened. One salesman did respond after I emailed to ask why the lack of response. He said he called, although my phone showed no missed calls or messages from the dealership. I've purchased several vehicles and suggested friends and family to check Shields out. I've been a good service customer with them for this last vehicle with them all the service has been thru the dealership. No more, if this is how they support their customers, I want no part of this place either location Paxton or Rantoul!!

Very friendly sales team. The sales manager, Pete, was also great to deal with. I wasn't pressured to purchase.Service department is nice, they have a drive that is covered so I was out of the elements.I highly recommend!

I won't even give them 1 star. The place is a joke. I was told my used car (that I've only had for about 10 months) needed aver $1500.00 worth of work done to it. I took my car to a real car repair and it was just my brakes that needed work. I have to give them a star. Just picture a minus sign in front if it.

Outstanding service department. I went there for an electrical hookup for my Acadia and trailer, and they were so helpful in finding the right and making sure it fit. The Manager (so sorry I forgot his name) actually went above the call of duty and hooked the electrical conversion piece up for me. I am getting our car serviced there going forward.

These people were my life savers today, my tire popped in the highway and I was riding on rim and did not have equipment to change a tire. Even though they were going to close the store in five minutes, they stayed open just to help me out. I am really grateful for that. Thanks

The employees at Shields Automart in Rantoul IL have boundary issues. One of the servicemen KYLE WHITE caused my check engine light to come on only hours after I drove off the lot by fueling my car with the wrong kind of gas! He stated he was unaware certain cars need certain types of gas... (turbo engines needs premium gas, V4-6 need regular, etc) When he was alerted of his mistake and it was proven to be the gas issue with help of a diagnostic assessment of the car, they stated there was nothing they could do and that they would not buy the car back from me, because the check engine light was on. Ironic? Kyle has also become very buddy-buddy with my fiancé, using vulgar language in conversation, TEXTING my fiancé asking him to tell me things for him, and other business information he wants relayed to me, sometimes not during regular business hours. Also, my fiancé did not sign as a co-signer. He instructed Kyle that he was not the owner of the car, I was, and to tell me himself. I proceed to get back-to-back-to-back calls from (217)893-4197, I called back and a woman answered and stated it was Shields Auto and did not know who I was or why I was calling. I have since blocked the number to stop the calls. Very poor professionalism!! Very unorganized Do not give them your phone number!!
