I would love to know why another employee isn't allowed to step in and help check customers out when there's a HUGE line! I'm sorry but that is very poor customer service! Pawnee Dollar General is very busy, Pawnee doesn't have a grocery store so DG is a busy place! Employees are only allowed 5 hour shifts, Unless you are a key holder, why? Pawnee store really needs more man power.

Terrible, never stocked Shelves. The people working are always outside smoking. They are not friendly. They need a bell installed since there I literally never a cashier, So they can be notified someone wants to check out. I absolutely hate this store. Even though it's the only store in town, I feel the town would be better without it. Please do us a favor and shut the doors.

Worst dollar general around. I live in town and drive the extra distance to kincaid, where they have stocked shelves and isles kept clean. Be nice to see an employee working and helping customers.

It is okay, but they are having issues with their help. They closed at 3pm on Oct 29 and 5pm since then until who knows when. There is a problem with stocking and keeping supplies available. Things like,Windex, SOS pads, spray bottles, big bottles of Pure Leaf tea, breads, buns, frozen items.

I can’t complain. They are the only store in Pawnee that has groceries. I’m grateful! I couldn’t help but read all of the comments from the whinebags. The funny ones are the comments about how the store is busy and, they would rather drive 10-15 minutes out of their way, spending more $ on gas than waiting in line for free. I guess patience is a thing of the past and some are too impatient to support their local town. I translate it as, I would rather drive longer, and use more gas and money because, I’m impatient. Contradictory. To each his own.

nothing as far as trash cans and laundry hampers are in wrong place and one of their newer employees decided to yell at me and voided my sale I personally will never go back unless she is held accountable for her actions I go there 5 nights or six a week and have never had or seen such a disrespectful smart mouth working there. crazy cuz I spend like 150.00 there a week if not more .....I'm calling corporate

The Pawnee, Il store is Not a very friendly place, atmosphere. You wait over 3 minutes before you are waited on while the cashier stands 10 feet away. Always cluttered. Only stop if the Kincaid store is out of what I need, which isn't very often because they normally have it. Always an unpleasant experience at Pawnee.
