I had a wonderful experience with the pharmacy and pharmacist this morning (1/22/24). Ran out of an important prescription and my physician was unable to call in a renewal. All the people I dealt with at the pharmacy could not have been more helpful. The counter help and pharmacist had my emergency supply in less than ten minutes. True customer service!!! Thank you Walgreens and pharmacy staff. I really appreciate it.

I am surprised you have 2 stars. You don't worth any. Called 3 times to talk to the pharmacist. All 3 after holding 25 for each one they hang up on you. Stay away from this store

I am a physician calling about a prescription for a patient. The pharmacy left me on hold 40 minutes, dropped the call, then I spent another 32 minutes on hold before they dropped the call again. Never did I speak with a live human pharmacist. Shameful, bad business and a time waster for me and my patient.

Pharmacist at Touhy in Park Ridge was on her cell phone while I waited. She refused to help me till I let her know it was illegal to be on her cell during her work hours. She then told me the script I was waiting on and was supposed to be filled...was out of stock and can't be filled. Despite the fact I got a text saying it was ready. She then told me if I felt she was doing illegal things I'd have to talk to her attorney and couldn't be a customer there. This woman is insane. I then had another pharmacy transfer my script from that store. Currently in the process of having this pharmacist investigated.

This Walgreens is centrally located I'm glad that Walgreens still exist because sometimes when you looking to avoid a large crowd Walgreens is the best for that and they have pretty much some of the things you need .

They aren't willing to hire enough pharmacists to make anything here convenient. Why do I set up an appointment to get a shot when I still have to wait 45 minutes to get seen?

Worst customer service at checkout ever. Pete is beyond rude, weird, and has a condescending attitude. He made me feel super uncomfortable just checking out!!! Please hire competent people. I agree with all the previous negative reviews about this store! It is horrid and i will not be returning to shop here ever again.

The worst Walgreens ever. My wife's surgeon called in two prescriptions. They filled one and not the other. I asked which one they filled. She gave me a long name. I asked what it was. She looked at me this d*** look on her face and said I Don't Know. Then she walked away.

Nicole, the pharmacy manager at this location was extremely unprofessional toward my toddler during her immunization. She yelled at her, told me she needs a good spanking and shamed her once she gave the immunization. I have never experienced such a negative interaction as I did this day. Nicole needs to find a job that does not deal with the public unless she gets professionalism coaching. Walgreens and her licensing board needs to address her behavior.

I received a message stating my prescription was on hold, and I needed to know the time frame as the prescription is time sensitive. This should have been a simple call. It should not take more than 20 minutes total, even with a busy store. As of right now, it has been over an hour long ordeal. I have been on hold, transferred, and placed on hold after requesting a manager. This level of service is unacceptable, even with low staffing and/or busy store. My issue has still not been resolved, going on an hour and 20 minutes. When someone manages to pick up the phone, I cannot even get a word out before put on hold again or transferred. I am appalled at the treatment I received. UPDATE: Was able to get in touch, and was not given a time reference for when/if the prescription will be filled. Absolutely atrocious customer service, coming from someone who has been in the situation before and worked worse conditions.

The wait to purchase COVID tests through insurance was 24hrs because they are too busy filling Rx. Very disappointing.
