After being put on hold over and over for an hour, I came-in to Walgreens to speak with the female pharmacist. This location had the MOST employees i've ever seen in a pharmacy. Yet, NO one was picking up the phones. I literally witnessed that they just continued to put people on hold over and over to focus only on filling prescriptions. Also, I was their only customer so its not like they had a long line of people waiting either. Frustrated that my prescription was still not corrected after a week, the pharmacist told me I can take it to a different pharmacy if I'd like.

I've been on the phone for 30 minutes attempting to quickly confirm a prescription is ready for pickup. The lady at the pharmacy who answered the phone really quickly said, "Walgreen pharmacy pl", then without finishing her sentence, I was put on hold. This happened 8 times in a row until I was then sent back to the overseas phone operators who answered with "Hi, are you calling for the Best Buy gift card?" Slightly baffled, I said "No, I was on hold for the walgreens pharmacy, to which he then transfered me back. This time around, the exact same thing happened with the lady picking up the phone but not even saying anything before putting me on hold. It's been over 30 minutes, and I am still being put on hold.This happened between 4:45 and 5:30 on 12/19/2023. Whoever is doing this to phone customers is extremely rude. My call could have been 2 minutes, but instead, I am still on perpetual hold as I'm writing this. Completely unprofessional.

Sent me away twice even after giving me a time they’d have my sons antibiotics ready— it’s now an hour and a half later than that. Now it’s 7:30 PM and I have my children in the car with me waiting and they could care less.

Customer service here is horrible. I always try to be patient and understanding but I have had enough. I have been trying to have a prescription filled for over two weeks. I have called and gone in person numerous times. When I call I am put on hold for over half an hour and then hung up on. In person, I am told I will be notified when the prescription comes in and I never hear anything. I have also had my doctor call in numerous times. I finally asked to speak to a manager which I never do. They put me on hold and no one ever answered of course. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else.

After waiting on the phone for over 45 minutes for the pharmacy, THEY HUNG UP ON ME, TWICE! My prescription has been processing for almost a week and I need it within the next 48 hours. I've been trying to contact the pharmacy and they can't seem to answer a phone. Very disappointed in this Pharmacy, I understand that they may be understaffed but 45 minutes of waiting and then being hung up is RIDICULOUS. I will be transferring my meds somewhere else and no longer coming here. Absolutely ridiculous. I called again as well just to experience the exact same thing. Do not go here, go somewhere else.

This is the worst Walgreens in the country. Don't get your prescriptions here they will waste your time because they don't know what they're doing. Worst experience I've ever had and it happened to me for months on end.

Went through the drive-through, hoping it would be faster since I'm usually stuck waiting in the pharmacy line for 30+ minutes. After 10+ minutes in the drive-through and no one coming to the window. I just decided to leave and drive off. At this point I'm just switching pharmacies because that is beyond ridiculous. I don't know who they're hiring, but it is not working.

I am so unimpressed with this Walgreens. I have called the Pharmacy twice. Once at 7:30pm on a Wednesday and was put on hold for 45 minutes. Called later and put on hold again for over 30 minutes and gave up. I had heard bad things about this location before and the are proving it to be true. Maybe the district manager of this location could take a look at these crappy rating and do his/her job.

This Walgreens has very poor service. I was placed on eternal hold many times when trying to reach the pharmacy. They frequently are out of several of my medications causing an interruption in care. Would not recommend!!

I wanted to give a shout out to the Walgreens pharmacy on Talcott & Devon. This past Thursday evening, a doctor prescribed a C0v1d med for me, but the pharmacist noticed a potential drug interaction with another med I'm taking. She notified the doctor on call who confirmed that I should not have been prescribed that medication. When I called Walgreens today to thank her, she told me she was just doing her job. I'm so grateful that she was there to catch a mistake that might have had serious consequences. Thank you Christie from Walgreens!

I placed my order and paid for it at 6:00-ish pm. As of after 11:00pm, and after speaking with Nadine Daja, the manager at the 800 Talcott, Park Ridge Walgreens a couple of unproductive times, she told me that she had nothing to do with the "Door Dash order" that I placed EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH THE WALGREENS WEBSITE. My credit card was definitely charged at 6:00 PM (because I get notifications from Chase) but I still as of 11:11 PM September 2, 2022, I don't have my order. This is unacceptable. Period. I don't care what delivery service you use.
