I had an experience worth sharing about my first trial day at the Orange Theory workout in Park Ridge, which I attended with a friend after hearing about their offer to bring a guest for free. The reception staff was incredibly welcoming right from the start, setting a positive tone for our visit. As the one who suggested the outing, I naturally took the lead in interacting with the staff and the instructor. However, the experience took a downturn due to the behavior of the instructor, whose name I’ve since forgotten. Despite my attempts to engage with her, she consistently directed her attention and responses to my friend, disregarding me completely. Even when I spoke directly to her, she would avoid eye contact and instead reply to my friend. It was an odd and uncomfortable situation; I’ve never encountered such treatment before, and it’s not in my nature to jump to conclusions about prejudice or discrimination lightly.Reflecting on it now, after some time has passed, I feel it’s important to share this experience. It might have been an isolated incident related to that particular individual’s lack of experience or discomfort with diversity. Still, it was clear from her behavior that she was making me feel unrecognized and unwelcome. This incident, though minor in the grand scheme of things, has stayed with me, and I believe it’s valuable for others to hear about it.

Orangetheory is customizable no matter what your fitness level. No one is yelling in your face to "go faster" or "lift heavier." The coaches are supportive and helpful to ensure proper form. There is a gamification element with the different zones and aiming for that perfect pyramid post-workout. It's fun, challenging, and gets you sweating!

Hands down best experience. The workouts are amazing and the coaches are the best. OTF is by far worth trying out. You won’t regret it.

Been going for over four years now and it's helping me build endurance, strength, and power. They do a great job balancing the routines so we develop all different parts of our bodies.

In the short time that I’ve been at Orangetheory Park Ridge I have loved and thrived in every class. Every class is different, doable, and yet I know the routine. All of the coaches have been wonderful and take the time to show you how to exercise correctly. During each class, directions are clear and I feel confident in knowing what to do every time! I can’t say enough nice things about the staff at Park Ridge enough. They are top notch.

I have been a member of Orange Theory since opened in Park Ridge and I still love it! The coaches and the staff are so friendly and caring. They make you look forward to coming to workout. They are super friendly and the atmosphere is so comfortable. OT has changed my life for the better❤️I am so grateful!

When you workout at a orangetheory, you get great staff members ready to assist, an instructor, a (purchased)Fitbit to track your workouts Also, you get structured exercises being led by the instructor. Also you can look on a monitor to see how you’re doing. Overall, I love the concept, as I am seeing results.

I was so happy with OT Park Ridge. I am extremely spoiled by my home studio, making working out while traveling a chore. I did not have this issue at park ridge. During my 4 day trip I met 5 SA’s and 4 coaches. The entire staff was friendly and went above and beyond to make myself and daughter feel welcome. Coaches were engaged and fun and it was almost like working out at home! Highly recommend this studio!

I received a promotional email stating if I signed up for a membership before January 31st I would receive $20 off my monthly fees.Interested in this, I went into the Park ridge location to sign up, but was told by the manager "Ayana" the email was a mistake and I would not get the $20 off and there was nothing they could do as it was controlled by corporate.Turns out that wasn't the case and there is discretion that could be exercised through the franchise owner, I didn't find this out until I called and spoke with managers at other club locations. My complaint is "Ayana" did not want to do the right thing and at least offer to check into it without me pressing and following up on this issue. Rather, she swept it under the rug as a "corporate error" and wiped her hands clean stating there was nothing that could be done despite that obviously not being the case.Due to my own diligence and no help from the Park Ridge OTF staff, they are now getting back to me on whether or not they can honor the promotion.Update: I was told they would NOT be honoring their promotion, despite two other managers at other orangetheory fitness clubs stating they would have honored it and have the ability to honor it at their club.

I was late 30sc and not allowed to join the class even though experienced that exception given to some other members. First time being late in a year, a warning could be kind. I May say that kindness lost against policies. OTF needs to review the policy again…

Truly the best!! I have been to many OTF studios and they have all been wonderful but Park Ridge makes you feel like family. I moved to the area about a year ago and was nervous trying out a new studio. All the staff is amazing and always goes above and beyond. Thank you OTF Park Ridge for making every workout great! ?

I love this gym. The staff is friendly and make an effort to get to know everyone and this is the same of the trainers. They make it feel almost familial. I love the workout as it is challenging but it also allows you to move at your own pace. It does sometimes take a day to recover, I shoot yo make 4 days a week but sometimes I can only get in three. The scheduling of classes can be limiting but that is expected with this type of gym.
