“Kol Tuv is a hidden gem on Devon Ave in Chicago. It is a specialty grocery store that carries an eclectic variety of foods that cater to all different populations. They have all the items you would find in a typical grocery store plus gluten free, dairy free, kosher, gourmet etc. When you go, you must check out the selection of chocolates and candies. The staff is friendly and helpful and the store is immaculate. This store makes grocery shopping fun and exciting! Hope you love it as much as we do!”
“Nice place, spacious, great windows, warm old brick walls, great space between tables, first class service (ask for Simon). The food is excellent, well presented, elegantly arranged on the plate, wonderful taste combined with wonderful smell. “Really great wine store! The staff is also incredibly helpful. I will often come here saying "I am looking for something that tastes like a pinot nior, or pinot gris, etc." and they can easily point me in the right direction of a unique natural wine similar in flavor profile. We are so lucky to have such a cool wine store in this neighborhood!”

“Good shop assortment, many alcohol brands and friendly atmosphere. However, shop have serious issues with the vape products. Even if you will test vape directly in front of cashier - first few puffs will be perfect. However, after 10-20 puffs vape become completely burnt. Tested three times and wasted money. Will not make more attempts to buy any vape here. However shop is recommended for other products.”

“I figured I should write a review for Bottle Theory, as I just found myself gushing to a friend about how wonderful everything is here. This spot is by far one of my favorites! At this point, we’ve hosted two parties here and the staff is always incredibly attentive and accommodating regardless of our group size. The taproom is very spacious, and the patio is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the warmer weather. As a vegetarian, I sincerely appreciate the variety of veggie options found on their menu. I’ve never spoken to anyone at Bottle Theory who seemed less than absolutely thrilled to help, which makes my heart sing as a former service industry worker. I know that good employers take care of good people, and there are certainly an abundance of good people here. I also love that the taproom is family friendly, and even boasts a great selection of non-alcoholic drinks and beers for my sober friends. Overall, I always feel like I can easily please everyone here - and that’s why we keep coming. Thanks for all you do, BT!”

“Came in the last 30 mins before closing and the lady at the register wasn't bothered at all.I felt bad because the guy just mopped the floor but they were so chill about it.I've come in the last "hour" for a lot of places and they are so mad.. to see me walk in..?.Also I spend a whole 20 mins looking around and all I can say is they have a great selection and at even better prices .Baught the same pint of henny from a store a mile away and it was a whole $3. Cheaper here.”

“I stopped in here after stopping at almost a dozen other stores looking specifically for a bottle of Uncle Nearest, but also any great local bourbon that I could be pointed in the direction of, as I'm in town from Florida. Not a single one of the many stores I stopped in prior had anyone who seemed to be knowledgeable on the inventory and friendly, Vas Foremost was a totally different story. When we walked in we were greeted by a woman who wanted to know what we wanted and if she could help us find those items. She wasnt familiar but immediately got another gentlemans attention who took us right to the Uncle Nearest (if u are in Chicago and looking for it, they have 4 more bottles) and he then pointed me to a great locally distilled bourbon that was Fantastic. Highly recommend going here, wide selection, friendly and knowledgeable staff and great prices.”

Prices are extremely reasonable and the selection is abundant. Do yourself a favor and stop in here. I wish we were local, instead of just visiting. This would definitely be our go to store.”

“My appreciation for wine over the past 15 years or so is largely attributable to Simon and his staff at TCWC. Forget about what "that" huge brick and mortar operation in Chicago says about "if you can't find it here, it's not worth drinking." TCWC can honestly stand by that, the selection (and pricing) makes it really the only wine merchant I ever need in my continuing grape travels.”

“I’ve been coming here since they opened a few years ago and it’s a great addition to downtown Arlington Heights. Awesome selection of cans (my preferred beer consumption method) and rotating drafts. Flights are great way to try out a new beers without committing to a pint. Staff is friendly and attentive and always kind enough to let you sample a draft. Only negative things I can say is that I wish it was bigger and when it’s busy the number of children can be off putting.”

“Stopped here during a pub crawl with friends. This was a great spot to grab a quick drink from one of the beers on draft, or pick up bottled or canned beverages to take home. Not feeling like a draft beer? You can buy a canned beverage and use the store's quick cooling tub. There's plenty of room for small groups and individuals alike. Challenge your friends to a few rounds of retro video gaming. There are a few locations in the Chicago area, and each is different. Regardless of which location you visit, Beer on the Wall is a great place to visit.”
