Drove further away from my house because ace has copied my keys for years at a great price. When I got there with my original and my own two blanks that I know for sure are a match, the service tech told me it would be $45 for each copy when I needed 2. I was dumbfounded that the blanks and cuts from ace brand keys are 7 dollars now and the service tech tried to grab me for 45 per cut. What's more outrageous is I made a second trip to a locksmith and Johnson locksmiths charged me 2.50 per cut.

I bought a very expensive 2-stage snowblower from Olson's. I paid for assembly & delivery. They didn't put any oil in it. Could have blown the motor. For the money I paid, put oil in it. The gas I understand.

Always have staff available to help which is a rarity these days. They've evolved their floor plan to have more home goods assortment also. Great paint department with on-staff expert willing to help with projects. Huge focus on grilling and smoking equipment too.

Hi there, I’m not a fan of Ace Hardware anymore. I think they have some problems with their products and services. Here are some of the issues I have with them:Their products are not as good as places like Amazon. Amazon, as one example has more variety, quality, and customer reviews.If you buy something from Ace Hardware, they only give you store credit instead of cash or card refund. That means you have to spend more money at their store, even if you don’t want to.Ace Hardware's store credit is not valid for online purchases or other locations. That’s very inconvenient, especially if the item you want is out of stock or only available at a different store. You should be able to use your credit anywhere and anytime.You can return an item to any Ace Hardware store, but you can only use your credit at the same store where you bought it. That doesn’t make sense to me. If you can return it anywhere, why can’t you use your credit anywhere? What if the store where you bought it doesn’t have what you need?These are some of the reasons why I don’t like Ace Hardware anymore. I hope they change their policies soon and make their customers experience a better one.

Clean store, easy in & out, good selection. The best thing is probably the staff. Very knowledgeable. I needed a longer version of a bolt, and before I'd even brought it up to eye level, she knew exactly what kind of threads and where to get exactly what I needed. Great neighborhood hardware store.
