“Family Dollar is close to my house, everything is at a good price, good service, helpful, nice and they just upped the items with a freezer, ice cream, milk, cheese, etc. All good!!!”

“Today there was an experience where a lady with kids ended up breaking a whole aisle full of glasses and the two ladies working were so good about how they handled it. The store was as clean as it could be it's an older store and the staff that was on duty today was beautiful.”
“Happened to shop here for the vitamins here aren't too expensive. The fruit and accessories are to good to come by. I likely shopped to the extent of essential items such as q tips and shampoo and razors. The use of purchasing a iTunes card at the reasonable credit also helps. Nevertheless a great store to come through and shop.”

“I just had the most wonderful experience. My daughter fell asleep on the way to the store so I had to carry her throughout the store. While it was my turn at the register the lady behind me offered to put my items on the belt for me, the cashier (wish I paid attention to get her name) pulled the cart around and loaded it for me, the lady that was in front of me waited for me to check out to help bring the cart/ bags out and the lady that helped put my items on the belt had her nephew bring my bags to my car. I was a little worried at how I would do all of this with my daughter sleeping but these amazing people and the amazing cashier didn’t even blink an eye to help me. I am so thankful/great fun that there are still good people out there that are willing to help people they don’t know. If it wasn’t for them I would have had a very hard time checking out and getting to the car. Tear jerker of the day, I got very lucky. God is good, bless them?*edit*My receipt says the sales associate was Candice! I hope that is right because she deserves the praise and a raise!”

“I love this location. I never go here and they don't have what I need. They're always organized and well stocked. The sale ads are always posted so there's no guessing.. I really love one of the cashiers she came from the Calumet city location before they closed down. She's super funny very down to earth and has the best customer n service ever!!! And big ups to the mangers for helping and keeping this store well organized and the store ran right considering half of the family dollars around here are a hot mess! “I like going to this Dollar General when I don't want to shop at the grocery store. This DG has everything, canned goods, soda, cleaning products, OTC medications, make-up, everything. Very convenient and the employees are always helpful and courteous. I know they work very hard there.”
